Eh, i am constantly getting stumped with ideas. Other than that, it's going okay.

Lately i've been doing some planning for an expansion for this short game that i finished in less than a day.

Eh, not exactly my aim for an Axolotl Character.

Anywho, yeah, it has been a long time, has it?

It was a test level. it was intended to include a few secrets

Hey, i appreciate the compliment. And yeah, there is a few things that i may have to fix some time.

Hello, Participants!

Ready?

Because i have extended the jam time for your submission developments!

Have fun, and you're welcome! :)

Hey!
To answer your Question;

It did calm down, yes.

I must admit:

That's pretty awesome, No lie!

I am currently Using Godot after giving up Unity due to what they're doing. So far, i got a lame, but amazing basic going:

Hey...

as you all know, Unity screwed up.

And we're paying the price for their incompetence for each download we get.

Therefore, im changing the engine part of the jam and hiding my projects made with unity.

It hurts me to say this but you should, too...

Good evening/morning/afternoon, jam participants!

As you can see, i've submitted my tech demo of DRMNLotl for the jam, to show you what a PS2-styled game can look like.

As always, feel free to use original button sprites in your UI if you don't want to use PS2 controller buttons.

I cant wait to see your submissions, too!

Have a good time!

Glad you like it.

And i will follow those tips for my next game like that.

Good day, Jam Participants.

I have a question for all of you.

What are you working on for your entry?

I would love to know, but feel free to answer.

Hey, jam participants. i got something for you. For your entry for the jam, here's a cover overlay, and an example of how to use it.

Feel free to use it for your PS2 Toy Box Jam entry!

lately, i've been busy with stuff, but im still planning the thing.

Also, im so excited to see what you all come up with for this jam!

Hello, Jam participants!
It's me, the host of the PS2 Toy Box Jam, here with a cool update!
As of right now, during the jam, I have started the process of setting up the Demo Disc for your demos!

I am researching some PS2 demo discs while planning this one.

I will keep you all updated with screenshots and more!

Thanks!

-Elias.

Any game, including 2D/sprite-based games are on the PS2.

So my answer is... YES. :D

It is up to the developers to allow their submission to be in the Demo Disc page here on itch.io. It is entirely okay if they don't want their submission added. It is up to them. At the end of the jam, i will ask each developer if its okay to add their submissions.

The demo disc is a .exe file compiled with the demos, and inspired by most of the PlayStation 2 Demo Discs.

Thanks, man! I thought i'd have something available for any GB Studio game developer to use for their game covers.

I really do not know HOW to implement combat as i was making this.

I'll Admit; this was so good, i played it TWICE today. Great job!

I'm so glad you love it!

You make GB Studio game development look so easy! And you have inspired me, but i only know the teeny tiny basics of GB Studio, and i struggle to make my (current) game in GB Studio. I wish to learn from the master!

I oughta say, you're doing well with this!

Hello! I seem to be interested in this jam and i plan to join, based on the theme!

I only have two questions before i join:

  1. Are animated movie plots welcome?
  2. Is the pixel art style welcome?

Thank you for your time, and i certainty cant wait to join the jam!
