Thanks for reaching out! I have sent request in Discord.

Thanks for reaching out! For this project I’m looking for a 2D artist with a bit more experience, so this role might not fit a complete beginner right now. Appreciate your interest and wish you all the best!

feel free to download and play around.

Yes, it will definitely remind of Hollow Knight (the character movement sprites are inspired by  HK—we’ll redo them all later; this is just to get the workflow up and running).
Also, I think we can add new ideas and build our own world. It’ll be fun.
If you’ve made or studied 2D platformer action-adventure games—especially on the art side—or if you have tricks to make things look good without spending tons of time, that would be awesome.

The development pipeline is basically set, and I’ve been working on it for a while. It feels okay so far, and I have some ideas for this genre.

About Payment: I’m staying at home—basic living is fine but I don’t have much budget. I used to do Node.js backend work, but only for three months, so I didn’t save much. Orz
Funding plan: I’m aiming to produce a complete map in about three months. If that comes together, we’ll go for crowdfunding.

I’ll be responsible for game design and programming, and I can also do some scene build in Unity. The engine-related tasks are fairly simple; once you’re familiar, we can split the work.

Technical art, like shaders—is too hard for me right now. If everything goes well and we raise funds later, we’ll bring in a pro tech artist.

That's pretty much it.
