I wanted to share a small project I’ve been working on: a Dungeon Meshi-inspired supplement for Cairn 2 focused on food and survival in megadungeons. Basically Delicious in Dungeon in OSR style.
It started while I was adapting Dyson’s Delve for Cairn and realised I wanted more support and new procedures for long expeditions: cooking monsters, managing scarce resources, and turning parts of the dungeon into temporary shelters. Also with some fluff and tools for dungeon culinary culture.
- Dungeon Cookbook
A lightweight one that adds simple procedures for:
-Monster Harvesting and Cooking
-Dungeon Shelter Resting
It tries to stay as close as possible to Cairn’s design: minimal rules, table-ready, no overhead.

Dungeon Cookbook Delves #1
“The Stolen Flame”
Alongside it, I made a small one-page dungeon to actually play those ideas.
A starving goblin tribe survives by stealing fire and supplies from adventurers’ Dungeon Shelter.
You can:
-hunt them down
-negotiate with them and help them survive
It’s meant to be dropped into any dungeon and played immediately.

If you try it at the table, I’d genuinely love to hear how it goes.
Thanks for your time.
