Project Overview

“Clocked In” :A multiplayer survival-stealth game set in a retro PSX-style office environment. Players take on the roles of office workers striving to meet weekly quotas to avoid termination. Each in-game day runs from 9 AM to 5 PM, during which players must complete tasks, manage stress levels, and evade roaming adversaries like aggressive supervisors and tattletale interns. The game spans four in-game weeks, with escalating challenges each week. Success is measured by meeting individual quotas, and top performers are rewarded with the "Employee of the Month" title, granting stress relief benefits. I'm planning to develop this game using the GODOT engine.

  • Goal: Meet weekly quotas or get “terminated”
  • Loop: 9 AM–5 PM workdays, manage stress, avoid supervisors & tattletales
  • Progression: Four in-game weeks, escalating challenges, “Employee of the Month” rewards
  • Engine: Godot

Hey everyone,

I'm the designer/producer of Clocked In, a retro horror multiplayer game, and we’re currently looking for a 2D/3D artist who can also animate in Blender to join our small hobby team.

About the Game

Clocked In is a multiplayer stealth-survival game set in a surreal 90s-inspired office where players complete stressful tasks and avoid bizarre corporate threats. Think Lethal Company meets The Stanley Parable with analog horror vibes and a satirical workplace twist.

Role Details

We need someone who can:

  • Create 2D UI mockups, signage, and other environment overlays

  • Animate 3D characters or props in Blender for use in Godot

  • Help develop the game’s eerie, PSX-inspired visual identity

  • Work closely with the rest of the team to integrate assets into gameplay

Tools & Setup

  • Engine: Godot

  • Task Tracking: Monday.com

  • Version Control: GitHub

  • Project Timeline: 12–24 months, hobbyist-paced

  • Model: Revshare (equal split)

  • Team: Currently 3 people — programmer, 3D modeller, and myself (designer/producer)

 Who We're Looking For

  • Hobbyist or aspiring game artist/animator

  • Comfortable working with Blender and doing basic rigging/animation

  • Can handle both 2D asset design and assist with 3D implementation

  • Good communicator with interest in quirky/horror indie games

If you're interested, drop me a message with your portfolio or work samples and I’ll share more about the game, team, and plans.

Thanks!

Hey everyone!

I am working on a game called Clocked In, which is a retro multiplayer survival/stealth horror game that was inspired by Lethal Company and is built with Godot. It's a very tense and silly experience that takes place in a haunted corporate office from the VHS era — imagine Lethal Company meets The Stanley Parable meets SCP, but in a low-poly PS1 visual style.

This is a passion project, with no funding (yet), and I’m looking for fellow creatives to collaborate, build their portfolio, and make something weird and fun together.

Game Concept

Title: Clocked In Engine: Godot (perfect for fast iteration, open-source, and low-spec compatibility) Genre: Survival / Stealth / Competitive Co-op Visuals: Low-poly, pixelated PSX-style with VHS grain and dim lighting Tone: Atmospheric horror meets absurd office satire Platform: PC

You and up to 5 others are trapped in a haunted office. Finish your daily quotas while dodging your terrifying managers. Survive four in-game weeks — or get fired in the worst way imaginable.

Core Gameplay Loop

  • Daily cycle: 9AM–5PM with randomized patrols and tasks
  • Weekly progression with rising quotas, enemy aggression, and stress mechanics
  • Enemies include the Supervisor (chaser), the Intern (snitch), and the Janitor (obstacle creator)
  • Stress system: daily (recoverable) + general (permanent) stress buildup
  • Friday = "Weekend Phase" with risk/reward mini-events
  • Character classes: Each with unique perks and drawbacks
  • Game ends when only one player remains — or when someone wins Employee of the Month

What’s Already Done

  • A full 5-page Game Design Document
  • Defined mechanics, character roster, level layout, and UI/feedback system
  • Design inspired by Lethal Company’s structure but with a fresh corporate spin
  • Strong streamer-friendly angle with competitive play and tension-based comedy

Looking For

If you’re working with Godot and want to build something unique, I’d love to have you onboard. Roles I’m looking to fill:

  • Godot Programmer(s) (multiplayer experience is a plus!)
  • 3D Artist(s) – PSX low-poly assets and modular office layout
  • Sound Designer – creepy ambience, enemy noises, UI blips
  • UI/UX Designer – stress bars, alerts, task interfaces
  • (Optional) Writer/Narrative Designer – for quirky office lore and flavor events

What I Can Offer

  • Game design, systems, writing, worldbuilding
  • Clear documentation and project direction
  • Communication, commitment, and long-term support
  • No micromanagement – creative freedom encouraged!

Why Join?

  • Work on a unique, marketable project inspired by Lethal Company
  • Build your portfolio with a full game team
  • Learn and grow in a chill, collaborative space
  • Potential for rev-share if published later
  • A game designed for streamer engagement and replayability

Interested? Let’s chat!
