Thanks for your kind words! These always mean a lot to me. I'm glad that you're enjoying what you've played thus far. It's super validating to hear you appreciate the themes presented.
I just want to note something on the NTR topic; I don't outwardly fetishise lewds or situations as much as possible. It isn't really my thing, and so I prefer to flip them over and see what can be done to make them almost mundane, and with real narrative consequence. When I see something like cheating, it's not always inherently selfish or malicious, but the narrative consequences are always going to be there, and those consequences affect the one they love the most. That's the part I want the explore. How do these two fix themselves, and does it work at all? Cheating was just a narrative gateway to something more.
I stumble once or twice a year, but mental health rarely keeps me down. This year was tougher than most, but I'll always come out on top.
Thanks again. :)

If you installed the update file, play until Tuesday. It should start automatically.
Hey there! The event isn't broken and does work (I just tested it), so I'm not 100% sure what the issue is. In any case, I rewrote the flags anyway and checked that they do work just to make sure that the issue is completely dealt with.
I just have a couple more things to fix up, and I'll have an update patch up today at some point.
Thank you. :)
Detached is indeed very story heavy, as that is the main focus on the game, and the character interactions are the backbone and support of it all. Despite the main plot lines happening simultaneously, it is still a story about a man and the bitches and bros he meets along the way.
That said, this update (and updates from before) offers QoL updates to help ease up on the grind (generic event skipping, hints and checklist in the various Events screens, drop down menus in the sandbox portions, etc), and Main Events help ease up on the grind, offering Affection increases for characters involved in them.
I've also found that emailing them directly tends to get shit fast tracked.
It's crazy how my first payout was only a few days after, but every time afterwards has been 8+ days wait. You would think that the first payment is the one that would take longer for verification purposes, but alas.
I can understand needing upwards towards a week, but at one some point automated payment processing should be considered by Itch to alleviate this issues. Especially considering the amount of devs that use this as the main source for hosting their projects.
Manually checking every payment is a ridiculous task, particularly if many of those payments are a large sum of small payments.
Detached is always going to be free to play.
However, Early Access is always going to be a version ahead of the free release, meaning there is going to be a 1-3 month window where the most current version is only going to be available here or on Patreon/SubStar.
When development for Detached is officially complete, there will be a generous Early Access timeframe where the final update is only available for Early Access before I release it publicly.
Hey! Thanks for showing interest in Detached. :)
Detached development has slowed a bit on account of balancing work/life QoL stuff, and the increasing complexity of chapter 2 events, but 0.17.0 will hopefully be available for Early Access at the end of the month, meaning 0.16.0 will be publicly available then.
Oof. The hints are correct, but I messed up the trigger that starts the event.
The event will play for you on a Tuesday once you have all of the requirements, but after Audrey's Event 'Certified Good Girl' instead of her Affection being at 5.
I will fix it so that the stated Affection levels are what is required for 0.17.0.
Thank you for pointing this out. :)
