Hey. Thanks for playing my game!
I didn't know how to add walls on the edge of the screen back then, so I just added a warning (due to time constraints). Regarding the getting boxed in issue, I am actually going to add another skill to escape such situations( the skill will have other applications, too, of course). Anyways, I'll update the build with new skills and bug fixes within a few days after the pixel jam judgment ends. Thanks again for playing the game and for your valuable feedback.
BTW, I played ZomBen, I loved the concept of having to stick to only certain parts of the level as a living, and other parts as a zombie. It was a fun experience playing that game!

I will probably have to wait while they are judging the games. After that, it'll be a matter of days. I'll update it.
I tried your game too. I really loved the UI and the pacing of the games . As a player who has only played two tower defence games( second being yours) , it was really easy to grasp and enjoy.
This is only the second tower defence game I have ever played, so not expert enough to be a critic. But as a gamer who enjoys the thrill of the combat, I enjoyed the pacing of the game, the troops were simple to grasp, and the game is beginner-friendly in its design and gameplay. Overall, it was fun to play!
I made the game " The Happiest Memories of an Obnoxious Necromancer", which is a kinda-sorta souls-like( there are tough bosses) and a little bit roguelite( you die, you revive, you retry) and definitely a top-down pixel-art combat game( no explanation needed here). In this game, a narcissistic necromancer calling himself The Lich Lord (who has this game made about himself by haunting a video game designer) lets the player relive some of his ( Lich Lord's) most glorious moments.

I hope you enjoy playing the game as much as I enjoyed making it.
