You should be able to use a Debit Card as well. Here's more information on Kickstarters FAQ

This game is wonderful. There's so much content, the movement feels great, the exploration is rewarding, the art is fantastic and cute, I with they'd make a real sequel. It's easily worth $10-15 USD, but it's totally free!

If you love shovel knight, megaman, or monster girls, be sure to check this out.

Hey, just a heads up but you need to go into the editor and assign the platform type to each file so we can download the game through the app.  Set the PC to windows and the Mac to Mac, ect. Right now it's not app compatible.

Lacking a few quality of life features, but an incredible game already!

If you ever wondered what "Don't Starve" would be like if it was a bit more like Harvest Moon and Silent Hill, this is the game for you.  The required tutorial every time you restart is pain, but I really hope it gets an update to really make it shine!

Is she also free to use for commercial projects?

Thank you so much!  Screen Savor Studios isn't really a fan of bad endings for queer characters. There's enough of that already. Glad you enjoyed it!

She's just a bit out of her element. :)

I'm afraid that's an Itch.io issue.  I don't really gave any control over that.  Though if you want to subscribe to our Patreon you can get early access to all our up coming games.

Not sure if that has a better payment option for you but it should!

We don't have a series about I.V. specifically, but our games"Deadline" and "Jill O' Lantern" take place in the same universe. :)

Thank you so much!  We've updated all versions to 1.5 now which fixed all the typos our devs and the various streamers and let's players have found, and clarified some of the language on the puzzle. :)

We hope that "definitely something" is good, but as far as the Ren'Py GUI that remained goes, if it ain't broke and you don't have the time for more elaborate customization don't fix it. lol

Thank you so much!

There was even earlier forshadowing actually.  But it was much more subtle.  :)

Only partial voice acting. We didn't have the time or budget for full. Very few projects of this length are. But our VA's were paid for their work and they knocked it out of the park with the lines they were given. :)

Thank you so much! We put a lot of heart into this game, so means a lot to hear that you enjoyed it. :)

Thank you so much!

We actually have two other games set in this universe already, both made for previous Spooktobers and referenced in the game.

Deadline : https://screen-savor-studios.itch.io/deadline

Jill O' Lantern First Slice: https://screen-savor-studios.itch.io/deadline

Deadline is a murder mystery where a reporter accidentally summons a shapeshifting Murder Cat who need to help her solve the mystery and writer her article before dawn or they'll have to kill her.

Jill O'Lantern is a cross between Friday the 13th, Groundhog Day, and Ace Attorney with a thicc pumpkin demon, a nonbinary cheerleader, a girl just trying to keep everyone from dying, and more mysteries and twists than we could fit in just one game!

Both games are more mystery than romance focused, but they are also both free!  However, we are currently working on a 2.0 version of First Slice, as well as the second episode of Jill O' Lantern which will be released by the end of the month as a paid episode.

Thanks for the review!  We did catch that and a few other typos in which we have fixed in the latest release. :)

A hauntingly good game.  The art is beautiful, the imagery is fantastic, the use of characters and how they are presented is amazing.

A wonderfully haunting game for the season.

I hated playing game. I've worked in a warehouse, and been in dire financial situations, and this game captured the emotional experience of working in one perfectly with the oppressive horrifying nature of a capitalist cyber punk future.

I hated how oppressively claustrophobic the Hud was.  I hated how Penny was contently just there at all times, watching, judging, and the unconsented (or at times barely consented) access she had to every part of me.  I hated how I could see my bank account looming in the corners at all times like a weight around my neck.  I hated how real the sense of bleek hopelessness was over being forced into a situation I felt like I had no control over, and how it felt designed to never let me go. I hated how everything came down to money or time, and how much control Penny had over allowing me both.

This was a nightmare, and hated every moment of it. It may be one the best horror games I have played in memory.

However, as incredible as the game is it is still in a slightly unpolished and buggy state. I was able to play maybe 30 minutes before I had to take a break from the anxiety, but when I came back to resume my save, the game refused to launch properly.  I got the "made by unity splash" screen, and then a dead screen.  I also had difficulty with the aspect ratio.  I have a sizeable monitor, but when I launched the game it came out in a window and the bottom tenth of the screen was cut off.  I was able to drag it up into my second monitor and set the game to full screen but was unable to change the resolution.  I suspect that this may have something to do with why the game wouldn't launch a second time, but I don't know. Or maybe Penny didn't like the way I was playing and said no.

I desperately hope the game can be fixed and a resolution option added, because I both need to and dread playing more.  Evil AI is a played out trope, but there is something so genuine and terrifying about Penny.  I need to know how this game resolves and what her actual goal is for the player, and if she truly is malevolent or just simply simulated interest over cold indifference.  So many questions and I need answers.

I want to highly recommend this game, I just hope it will be updated after the jam is over so I can complete it.

A cute game with multiple endings though it appears only one where you actually make it to the ball. It is a bit unpolished and has one problematic bug.

There is no voice acting, voice blurbs, and what little SFX is there is very quite and very few and far between. There's also very little relationship between the characters, and motivations are... silly at best. It's on par with a children's book, however there seems to be no real message to be take away. The mustache exists, and it either goes away and we see the ball, or it doesn't and we don't.

There is also a glaring bug in that there does not appear to be any way to back out of the extra's menu.  Once you click that button you're there until you close the game.  Given the lack of sound design, the oddly cut short endings, and the ability to soft lock a the game from the main menu, I can't recommend the game very highly in it's current state.  There's some cute fun to be had, but it all feels very rough and unpolished. However it is a cute little game, and the effort put into the UI commendable.

I adored this game. The art and animation was over the top in the best ways possible. The only actual issue I had was the strange disconect in the music. Some of it was classical stuff where you could even hear the snap and pop of a record, while over tracks were 16 bit video game stuff.  It works, but it's still odd enough to confuse me.  The lack of any voice acting or text blurbs was also a bit lack luster at first, although the audio that was present was used well. There were also a few lines that with japanese phrases that I wasn't familiar with and had to look up to understand, as well as a few moment where I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking at until it was explained several sentences in after it showed up, but those are minor complaints at best.

Over all the game's art and animation steal the show. There are so many fun references hidden in the backgrounds, the art is beautiful and sheer amount and quality of the animations and CG's put many big budget Visual Novels to shame. The choice to work in black and white not only allowed for a distinctive style in the jam but allowed for some much detail and creativity.  While the lack of voice acting in a jam with pushes for voice actors is a strike against it, the decision to devote the time it would take to other aspects of the game paid off in spades!  If this doesn't make the top three at least I will be very surprised.

Uh, the downloads are all for chapter 1.

Thanks for letting us know. We've updated the game with these fixes and a few other little visual glitches. :) Should be all good now.

I truly did not know what to expect going into this, and I'm not sure what I got coming out of it. But the moment I heard "Sadistic Sundial" I knew I was home. Well done. 10/10

A fun cute little game. :) Maybe could use a bit more audio design, but a delight none the less. Great job!

We have resolved the issue and the game is fully compatible with the app. :)  Thank you for your patience.

The game has been updated and is now tested and functional on the app!  :) Thank you for your patience, and enjoy!

Well, it looks like it's a problem with the app.  I have the same problem. You can download the game directly through the game page on your internet browser, though.

That should work then.  I'd suggest contacting Itch.io support. The file is there so if it's not showing up that's something on their end. I double check just to be safe though.

This is the first time I've seen this problem. What system are you trying to install on?

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. From the sound design, to the fast paced action, to the attract screen tutorial.  A new holiday classic for sure.

Awwwww this looks super cute!  Where do we get the mobile version?

I'm sorry, but that looks like a very small brimmed bowler hat. At least on the example image. Is it possible to get the hat turned slightly to the side so you can better see it's a baseball cap? If you don't have that option already.

Just played this on stream. Loved it, and hope that some day we'll see a full version.

Apart from a few technical hiccups with formating, this game was an absolute delight.

The first half was a delightfully sweet story with the some relatable moments, but that SECOND half...  I loved it so much.  The angst and characterization fed my soul.  Great job.  Would love to see a sequel someday, but these characters will live rent-free in my heart forever.

Short.  Sweet.  Beautifully drawn.  Fitting music.  And well polished.  Looks like a 10/10 to me!  Fantastic job!"

Liked the pixle art, but it was very difficult to follow the story.

Super cool to see someone else use low poly 3D for the jam!
The the game itself was pretty unnerving.  The camera effects were great!  The ending was... woof.

I wasn't sure if there was something I was supposed to do with the Planchet parts... It seemed like I was supposed to make it move, but I was never able to get a reaction.  It also made me wonder if there was more than one ending?  But I couldn't find any.

Edit: I noticed that there were some clips of a scene I couldn't get in the screenshots, so I guess I just couldn't figure out how to get the planchet to move. :/

Absolutely love it.   Soft describes this project in almost every way possible, except my love for it.  I can't wait to see more from you, and the incredible world your creating.

sorry, I mean "rogue"

how about "Rouge"?
