Hmm, thanks for the heads up, I'm not sure what this might be, perhaps try playing on a different web browser and see if that helps.

Thanks! This was a proof of concept made for a game jam. It's one of my favorites and I'd like to return to it some day and make it into something more full featured.

Thanks for giving it another try. Yeah I know that battle against the grass. I've been making some fixes for the performance which should reduce the need to double click and trying to figure out how to make a save/load feature, I also want to add some more plants so expect some more updates soon. The song is the Aria from Bach's Goldberg variations which I processed through my modular synth. The recording is the open source one by Kimiko Ishizaka.

Yeah we were learning as we went on that same site. The update is out now and the merging is finally working.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. Both of the issues you mentioned are fixed now along with some new features.

Cool dino! and wow 1000 water spent. We just released an update with the features we wanted to get in during the game jam. I hope you'll check it out.

Yeah we tried to keep things simple but the logic for pattern matching on a hex grid got more complicated than we thought. I think the result shows that this idea is worth investing some more time into.

Thanks EC! The kernel of the idea came from working on some big farming/ invest&express games. Limitations would force players to get more creative in how they decorated, so I went for the biggest limitation. The guiding design principle was "You can't control nature, you have to work with what it gives you and be patient." We are aware of the control issues and are working on patches now.

Thanks for playing!

All the art was made in Marmoset's Hexels. It's an amazing tool. I'm a terrible pixel artist but somehow I can get decent stuff made when I use Hexels.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. We are going to do some work on this in the next weeks and really try and get it to be the game we imagined it could be.
