For anyone wondering about the little thin lines in Godot 4; in addition to turning off antialiasing, you need to change "hinting" to "none" :)

Thank you! I agree, its definitely a balance between variety and too much. Next time I might do groups that have randomized items in them instead of randomizing the whole thing! I imagine that'd be easy to do with an array/dictionary!
