The combat system is brilliant - I've opened similiar mechanic and tried to make it in my two small games. Good job!

The idea of spell combination is pretty cool but it hard to use because of enemy speed (they move faster than character). The character feels a little lacking in movement agility, but the dash ability saves the situation. Overall, the game is made very nicely, it has a cozy vibe, and the spells are satisfying to use. It's just that the spell damage seems to lack impact, in my opinion. I'd really like to see the project evolution further!
This is an amazing result for just a couple of weeks! I especially want to highlight the magnificent cosmic-horror style - it's almost the strongest aspect of the game, aside from its simple yet addictive gameplay. And overall, the game itself and the main character gives a feeling that there's a huge lore or backstory inside it (protagonist has vibes of Chambers's The King In Yellow and Poe's The Masque of the Red Death) - and that's great - I would love to see more!

Greetings to the Itch.io! I've long dreamed of creating my own game, and my dream is slowly coming true—I want to present for public viewing the demo of my first game, MageRage. It's a pixel-style arena shooter about wizards battling each other. An interesting feature is the independent control of the character's two hands, which affects the effectiveness of spells and will be used even more extensively in the future.
At the moment, the foundation has already been laid. There are 3 locations (two of them are empty for now, but that's temporary), 4 types of enemies, 6 spells for the character, a casting system that depends on the speed of mouse-controlled hand movements, and a simple progression system (damage, mana, health).
Further down the line, I would like to implement a more complex progression system, more enemies, traps on the arena, interesting scenarios, character/housing customization, and multiplayer. Thank you in advance for your attention!
