No I already deleted the game so the log file is gone, sorry!

Basic info

Windows 11. I tried the default windows version. Computer specs: 32 GB RAM, Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU.

Bugs

  • No collision on most furniture in the house, or objects in the world (I assume this will be fixed later).
  • There was pieces of a car in the street in front of the house? Not sure if it's meant to be like that, but it looks unfinished. Included a screenshot.
  • Dr. said "house" in text but "building" in his voice line when directing me to the metro.
  • And most of all: I collected the tape behind the metro, walked down the road until I found a forest area, then exited to main menu and hit the continue button, only to find that all of the game's colors and textures were glitched out. When I exited to main menu and hit continue again, the colors changed but were still glitched. I included screenshots in the imgur link below.

Feedback

These are some things that would improve the game:

  • I did not finish the game because I got stuck. I went to the metro station as directed, where I assumed the time machine controller was based on a prior conversation, but I didn't find anything there besides a man. I wandered around for like 10 minutes and didn't find anything. Unless the game glitched, it's likely I was missing an important piece of information to tell me what to do at the metro.
  • I found a tape behind the metro and also didn't know what to do with it. Some guidance would be nice.
  • It also took me a while to find the phone in the house because there was little indication of where it would be. Designing the house more simply or giving the ringtone a doppler effect might help it be found easier.
  • I wouldn't call it trash, but I didn't get to a point with any real game mechanics besides walking around. There's a lot to improve, but hey, it seems to be coming along!

Hey there, I would be interested in doing some level design for the game. I've worked in Unreal 5 before and your premise sounds pretty neat. Do you have a timeline for the project? Here's my portfolio: https://samquist.github.io/ Here's my discord: semquik

Hi there, I might be interested in contributing some writing to the project. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and have written for some narrative driven games before, including dialogue, lore, and worldbuilding. I must ask, do you have a timeline for this project, or is it something with no set schedule? My discord is "semquik"

Hey there, I'm interested in collaborating. You can check out my games here on itch, and I sent you a friend request on discord.

Yeah we actually fixed that bug but couldn't get it packaged before the deadline lol. Glad you enjoyed it!

Heyo, my team used your pack in a game jam! Thanks so much.

Love the art!

Great premise! Cool graphics and storytelling for such a limited game.

Thanks! Yeah, we weren't able to get the push and pull implemented in time. But they're definitely on the way.

Hi, I'm looking for a 3D game project to work on. I've done lots of 2D games already, and am looking to branch out. I'm mainly a designer, but can write and draw too. I'm just okay at 3D modeling, but I know how to set things up and design levels in Unity and Unreal. Reach out if you need me! https://samquist.github.io/

Updated, I found a team ✌️

Game should be fixed by now btw
