Thank you for the thorough breakdown 💪 (We at @sagehartstudio are big fans of 'Astral Peak')!

We agree completely with your points on the liveliness of the game world, and are super excited to implement additional animations and audio/music in the not so distant future.

The dashes continue to be high on our priority list for reworking to create the most possible fun for the player. From your feedback, would you say that the variation in the dash was something you enjoyed, however it was the having to actually 'switch' that made it feel restricted?

Feel free to contact us on any of our socials HERE, or reply in this comment thread, if you would like to discuss further !

Such kind words coming from someone who made something as fantastic as the game you submitted. Thanks for taking the time to play 🙏

Gorgeous game, loved the spore like creation the creature undergoes as you level it up. Having the choice on what time to upgrade makes the play experience super fun and experimentative.

Initially, I loved the musicality of the jaw clicking as I drifted through the game. This got lost as more upgrades became available and more sounds overlapped, but it makes me wonder how cool a game of this style could be if all the sounds were synced in a way that was intentionally melodic and somewhat meditative.

Love the variety of mini games, it would be cool to be able to spend the money on cosmetics or something by the end. This would be a great mobile game with touch controls!

Awesome awesome game, gorgeous visuals and sound. Specifically, loved loved loved the 'learn from your mistakes' section. Awesome mechanic I would love to see again.

I have seen some mentions that the controls felt a bit cramped but wasn't unplayable by any means (I just used my right hand for jump and dash).

Also having the disappearing platforms come back immediately on death might make retries less frustrating (plus only have them disappear if you land or wall jump off them, there was many instances where i would jump near it and it would break).

Great game!

Fun little game, I liked the weapon combo and the fact that there were different enemies for higher difficulty.

Would love to see some extra levels/different castles to defend. The different layouts would make positioning yourself for the combat super interesting 🤙.

Rotating the planet is one of the coolest interfaces I’ve seen in this jam so far. I’d love to play this as a mobile game too. Sitting on the train building things up, great idle clicker.

Only note: did find the little dudes difficult to click a bit of the time. Hovering near them to select/highlight the different dudes (or even having them grow a little bigger when near them) could be a handy feature.

Love the relaxing pixel art and sounds, the moment I found the road was quite impactful. Really felt the significance of what that road probably would represent in the world as a deer.

Good variety of areas too, the tile based movement makes me intrigued to how you could further expand the gameplay as well. 👍

Simple and effective, there is something satisfying about the name reveal when you take a picture of something.

Would love to see additional secrets/easter eggs included with this feature in a photo book of some kind. 👏

Gorgeous pixel art and super fun tricky levels. The mind games you have to play if you mess up and get rotated is super engaging.

One of the 12 hotdogs is missing please patch 🙏

Great cozy vibe, love the idea of unlocking so many different drink orders as the game progresses. The collecting aspect of that feels extra enticing.

On the first play did have a bug where the coffees wouldn’t pour, fixed with a restart tho 🤙.

Love the look and feel of this game, I enjoyed the whole thing and genuinely would love to play more levels and more mechanics.

Only note (which is not necessarily a bad one) is that the difficulty progression felt less consistent when I played (some in between levels felt way easier than ones before and after them). Take from that whatever you like 🤙.

absolute game 🙌

Super cute art style, love the variety of environments!

Thanks! I’ve never got to play it myself but it was definitely an inverse inspiration along with “Please, don’t touch anything”.
