Thanks for the reply! Are there also changes like increased damage taken and stuff like that?

I'm buying the game now thanks to the sale :)

I heard that there are some unique changes the levels in hard mode. Maybe some new areas? Does anybody know what hard mode actually does? 

I'd like to see the whole game but don't know if hard mode is excruciatingly difficult or something.
