As someone who was not expecting it, I thought it was really special! Lovely characters and music ^-^

Would be nice if some of the double jump requiring batteries are place in between levels more, rather than at the end of a one way section. Repeating the same one way section gets... repetitive.

Also first impression wise, using an easier to read font would be nicer...

The story was good enough that I start hugging the walls half way through...

Felt the most relief/glee when I got the 9 batteries...

Being a pyro menace was my solution for the game, it was fun! :)

Not sure if the boss  was kill-able (was expecting a realistic spider to appear ngl), so am stuck there.  I think the mechanic is pretty unique!

Love the unconventional character design (for me at least). Makes me feel stuff. Am no writer, but I think the writing has a good flow.

Love the loop idea! The pixelart and music are also really good! Post apocalyptic my beloved.

I think you've found it, the main and checkpoints is related to the fire staff bug.

I pretty much just shoot fireball at the wizards, and it says 'failed to execute script 'main' due to unhandled exception: 'checkpoint' object has no attribute 'mask'.

Oh I see now.. it was open, my zone 3's checkpoint is at the exit's door for some reason, so I'm pretty much started at zone 3's exit when I entered zone 2's exit, on my first run. @@ I was playing on the download version, the web version seems to skip to the exit as well when I reload the game on zone 3.

I pretty much press tab on the level 2?'s or level 3?'s entrance door (don't quite remember which level it was), and I spawned in the fire staff room.. does that help? XD

This is really fun, it took me awhile to get used to the controls. I enjoyed figuring out the perfect jumps timing and the obstacles shifting puzzle. Though my game crashed when I reached the enemy wizards, which was after I just got the fire staff, there's a script error about main and checkpoints or something.. (Maybe because I was moving through levels incorrectly? I was trying to backtrack, but somehow ended up in the fire staff level..) Also using the fire staff on the knights/wizards caused the game to crash as well.. I had around 250+ deaths, the calming music really helps keeping my marbles intact.

I've beaten all boss up until Eros, the path to get back was quite demanding.. once I get up there, I'm pretty much half cooked. and Eros just start zippin and dippin on you. A closer checkpoint would be great. The Voice Acting is 10/10.

My laptop was at its limits still, but thankfully I managed to speedrun the ship and ascend the Barnabas. It was fun. The fast movement makes it quite enjoyable. Though the spike collision always caught my foot. And one time the rat AI went asleep and camp the platform's edge while I was wall climbing 😭👏 But then it fix itself after it kills me. Overall great game. Keep up the good work! 👍

Those homing thwomps were kicking my - until I learned the buffered hitbox sword technique.

Interesting visuals, very red.

That was tough as NAILS.. great art though. I couldn't complete it because my laptop was crying, not because I'm bad at platforming or anything.

That was great! the abilities are neat, much vampire.

That was fun, really generous.

The flameforged demon destroyed me, but it made me stronger. Hence the destruction of the 2nd boss.
