I've got a lot of visual novels and this one is definitely one of my favorites if not the favorite. Caribdis, you have a way of bringing the characters to life and very few developers posses that. I wish I could afford to donate more than I do. Keep up the good work. Looks like your fan base is growing..

I totally agree. Eternum & B.A.D. are two of my favorites and now Ripples is right up there with them. Anxious for more.
FYI, another one that you may like is "Now & Then, A Tale of the End". Animatiation isn't on the same level as the ones previously mentioned but makes it up with a very good story.
The best VN story that I've had the pleasure of reading yet. Character personalities give you the feeling you know them in real life. While reading the story I was anxious to get to the end to see if they would survive but once I actually got to the end I got sad that it was over. Only one thing I know to do, start another playthrough. There are only a handful of VN's that I consider great and this is definitely one of them!!!
It's not very often that I'm compelled to leave a review unless I'm very disappointed in something that I paid for or I am very impressed with something as is the case with this game. I just counted to be sure and I have approximately 47 adult (porn type) games on Steam that I paid for, a couple of them over $50.00. I want the developer(s) of this game to know that I did not enjoy ANY of them as much as I enjoyed "Once in a Lifetime". It was truly an enjoyable story. Just the right mix of comedy, drama, and sex. I still can't believe I found this game online by accident and it was absolutely free. I don't understand why you didn't charge anything for it. Thank you for a really enjoyable game. I will surely keep an eye out for games by Caribdis.
