sorry for the delayed response! I downloaded the latest build onto my Windows desktop. I had the same problem with the .zip file. I took out the .pdx folder and zipped that so it would be the root? folder and that worked (but it took a while to upload).

If I upload the main file, the playdate sideloading interface says there isn't a top-level .pdx file. If I upload the .pdx folder (?), it says wrong filetype. Am I missing something?

this game was pretty frustrating--once you see that a fruit is a bomb, it's hard to avoid it, and not all that satisfying to get a higher score. I'm happy to support new Playdate devs on itch, but I felt like the other reviews were a little disingenuous.

what do the different crank options do (when you press B)?

I think I figured out how it works--I didn't realize that pausing changed the controls.

do I set the initial live cells with B? I assumed it just reset everything.

am I doing something wrong? I'm just seeing a black grid even if I crank (the step number is increasing). I'm not paused.

what a cute concept. I love the neon pastels and weird vibe. Somehow drawing with simple tools brings out my own creativity. I don't really like the first-person controls, and simply jumping in succession to "fly" got kind of annoying.

very enjoyable. I want to make my own now!

I noticed that the mouse sensitivity was pretty high for me, but the game was playable! I liked the idea of tracking how the patients are doing.

yay! 👏👏👏 I'm so excited to have helped write this game about parenting 😌

what is the licensing on this tile set? creative commons? is attribution required?

hilarious

super cute!
