For those of you who might want to play it on Steam Deck, the Linux version runs well with the Linux Runtime 2.0 (soldier); the default 3.0 doesn’t seem to properly detect the resolution.
Should have a little FAQ up soon with all the item locations, both a vague hint version and a more detailed one, but here’s the chapel key.
Location of Chapel Keys
They are in the first floor of the main house, in the dining room closest to the kitchen. I just realized they are visible in a screenshot above!
The chapel key is very near where you found the barometer in the central part of the house. The shed key is also nearby in the main house, close to the shed itself (very unexciting, though the chapel is more interesting!).
Might write up a little faq with hints to find the objects when I get some time. There's a built-in hint system, but it only gives a hint if you trigger the end and are missing a single one of the important items.
Glad you are enjoying it, thank you! Yes, there is an ending (actually, more than one depending on the items you have), triggered by sleeping in your bedroom. I can go into more detail if you'd like.
And no need for tips, this isn't something I wanted to accept money for, but I appreciate it.
Not sure if you care, but I'm guessing the Linux .sh version can be made to easily run with little trouble. Didn't work on my Ubuntu machine but it somehow runs natively on the Steam Deck without issue.
This is minor, but it would be nice to have some metadata embedded on these tracks (title, date, a suggested track order, etc.). Also a FLAC release, but, whatever, I can convert it.
If a sound is played when the horn is made as short a possible, France Horn crashes and the Playdate has to restart. It didn't use to do this, so it might have something to do with the newest firmware the console is using (1.12.1)?
