What to expect:

- Synth configuration including vibrato

I already tried the idea of limiting the notes from the chromatic scale to the seven notes of a chosen scale with ScaleLab.

But this time I coded the synth from scratch, to allow player customization of the instruments in real time.

One thing that I noticed was hard on ScaleLab, was to do harmony and melody at the same time.

That is why I decided to give players the option to split those roles among them.

One can play melody in the keyboard while the other play harmony in the gamepad.

//Runner is a runner with the slash-slash combat system.

The combat system uses three attributes:

  • Initiative to determines who start (if the enemy starts it will block the first attack).
  • Attack to determine the damage per turn, and also to break tie if initiatives are equal.
  • Defense to determine the HP, the defense resets after combat is over.

There are itens to change the player build, use them tactically to defeat the near enemy.

In case of equal builds between the player and the enemy, the enemy will win.

The score is the number of enemies defeated before game over.

The main difference is that this game uses three attributes per card instead of two:

- Initiative / Attack / Defense

Hence the name "//".


This game includes single player only.

But it was designed with PVP in mind.

This ain't chess is an experimental "chess simulator."

You play with no board or pieces, only with strategic decisions based on a brief game situation description.
