Hmm, that's odd. Don't know what's causing that.

Yeah I didn't put much thought in the spawning process, which helped because it made designing levels easier but sometimes not enough enemies spawn.

5 stars across the board. Adored this one.

Great game, artstyle reminded me of a nitrome game. Loved it. Wish shooting wasn't space, that really hurt my thumb mashing that lol.

Yeah the enemies are mostly randomized so there is a small chance that the run is just doomed from the start, but most of the time it works! It helps to remember that you can shoot enemies off screen.

Love the presentation, the art style is wonderful. Just gotta fix that tutorial.

Wish there was more to it, maybe adding more cans over time or more power ups, but overall really solid! Well done!

I LOVED this. The style carried it a lot for me! Gameplay wise there wasn't much to say, but the style is just so fantastic it doesn't matter.

Very cute game, just wish there was more to the idea.

I love that it was a rythem game!! I wish there was some kind of UI to tell me when the beat is coming up, but it was super addicting!

Super cute, love the atmosphere, but where's the shotgun?!

Easily the best game i've played so far. The presentation is insane for a game jam game. Kinda wish there was an ending, also maybe I shouldn't be allowed to grapple the wall, I out ran the level generation lol.

Love the art style to bits. Very cohesive, well done. Game was fun, but I do wish there was more to it. Still, fantastic job!

Really fun! Absolutely LOOOVED the ghost designs. The art really makes this whole thing shine, well done!

Super duper cute, really loved the atmosphere! The platforms should really let you jump through them, having them be solid is really annoying when trying to jump.

Very very charming! just wish I could shoot a bit faster. Still enjoyed myself even if I didn't beat it.

This was super cute, but lacking a lot. Loved the ghost sprite, but the gameplay just got repetitive quick. Also found it funny how the shotgun was shooting the shells instead of the pellets. Still enjoyed it nontheless!

Really cute! Love the name of the gun, lol. Wish there was more to it, but I understand the llimitations, you did a lot, well done!

Felt a bit fast movement wise, but once I figured out i could rapid fire the shotgun the game became a lot easier. Not sure how I feel about it being mouse controlled, but it was fun nonetheless! Well done!

Loved it! A little too hard for me right now, lol. Couldn't get past level 8. Super fun and simple, well done!

It's probably because if you spawn a wish while a wish is already there, it deletes the wish. Never got around to fixing that.

When you talk to an NPC a wish spawns. I was going to have a popup show up on the HUD saying "A wish has appeared" but I ran out of time.

Noted! If I come back to this project i'll probably allow the players to control the speed.

Yeah I'd have loved to get more content done but alas, not enough time.

I just wish i could have gotten more content in!

No, I didn't have time to implement anything like that. The idea of the game was that you were collecting these quests for the quest agency, but the agency was a scam and the guy you gathered quests for just left with everything.

That's part of the chaos aspect. I wanted each character to be made by a new artist to get a wide variety of characters and art. So naturally some were just bigger pixel sizes.

Now that the game is done i'm really upset you didn't get it done sooner! It deserved so much more love ratings wise. Good amount of levels, and whilst it's very simple it's very fun. I can tell you really understand a lot of game design fundamentals, you should just focus on refining your art skills and construct logic skills. Or even learn Javascript or something if you feel motivated! Really loved the game, good job.

Glad you liked it! I plan on adding a lot more if I can find time.

Thank you again for the sprites! Would you like me to add your itch.io page to the game? Also I totally plan on adding more, I wanted at least 20 NPCs.

Noted on the soft lock. There aren't any quests that way so i just didn't playtest that area, lol. I'll probably fix that when I get home.

The art is phenomenal. love all of the character designs.

I think you failed to upload the construct file as an embedded file. The page has nothing there. I really hope you upload it, I liked the title a lot.

Love the arcade style gameplay, good job!

You can actually throw your pigeons to dodge the hawk sniper fairly easily. Also, programming it to just follow the mouse would have been somewhat trickier and i was already pressed for time as it is haha. Thank you for the comment!

It's hard to see because it goes by so fast but that's actually a hawk that's attacking the pigeons. And right before it strikes you can throw your pigeons into the sky by letting go of the mouse to dodge it.

Time is always against us haha. I had to cut so much as well, I know how you feel.

Neat little game. I kinda wish the jumping was a little bit higher. It felt like I had to use every single flap just to get to the next platform, even though it also felt like you wanted me to be able to shoot the enemies mid air. The music is really chill, and I like the art design. Especially of the main character. Could have used some better art for the platforms and lava but I'm willing to bet that was mostly time constraints. Well done!

Really well done! The art style is great, very pretty, and the gameplay is pretty creative too. Reminds me a little bit of SuperCrateBox in a strange way.

What a wonderful little concept. love that you went with a card game. Art wise I wish the cards had different bird designs on them, along with the colour change. Just to add a bit of charm. But you're super creative with the gameplay! Took me a bit to really figure it out, but it's fun, a really awesome concept. You should be proud of this!
