Drill Beats is an educational, fund, calming, and engaging game in the style of Super Mario, but music driven.
Drill Beats is a pixel-art rhythm platformer where the level is the song. Five instrument lanes (vocals, guitar, keys, bass and drums) are your floors, a pink playhead sweeps across them in time with the music, and you run, jump and drop from clip to clip, collecting note-coins on the beat.
How it plays Run on the beat. The auto-run is locked to the tempo. Jump or riff on the beat for Perfect and Good hits and a growing combo. Build the band. Band members join as you progress, lighting up their lane and adding their instrument to the mix. Riff the hazards. From level 2, donuts charge up and fire riff sparks: riff them on the beat or jump them. Friendly shapes float on the coin path for bonus points. 30 shapes to meet, each with its own behaviour, unlocking two at a time from level 2. The master’s hands carry spare bars to other lanes, and the music follows the bar. DJ WAX drops in to cut, rewind and warp the track on you. Choose your genre and character, pick a difficulty (easy to insane), play with a friend in 2 players, try the daily mix, browse the songbook, or load your own track. Controls Space: jump (hold for higher). S: drop to the lane below. J: riff. Arrow keys: seek. Keyboard, gamepad and touch controls are supported; the in-game Controls screen shows them all.
