Noted, thanks for trying it out!

This was a fun game! I think the game itself was great, and there were some clever mechanics, but one thing that could be improved on is the UX.

For example, I didn't understand how to start the game because the title page looked like a walkthrough guide, so I actually thought that the tutorial under, which did have the UI buttons, was the game.

Another thing is letting the player know with some sound if the level is complete -- I kept trying to move around the character even after I solved the puzzle, though I figured it out eventually (for example, when I accidentally solved the puzzle vertically instead of horizontally, I was wondering why I couldn't move).

But I've learned a lot playing this game -- I didn't even know that you could call webpage things while playing the game! That's definitely something to keep in mind for the future.

Thanks for playing!

We had no expectations going in on what constituted a puzzle, and deliberately chose not to change it since it still fit the requirements of the jam. I'm glad it gave you something different to play. And your criticism is valid -- thank you. I figure that the last puzzle was the worst offender. Perhaps there was a better medium than video games to handle certain types of 'fun', which is definitely something to think about as a gamedev in the future.

This was almost as hard as rage playing TFT until 8AM in the morning lul

I'll be a good boy next time and scope better (that's what I tell myself every time...)

Hello, here are the answers for Puzzle rooms 2 & 3 for those who need it.

Hello,

I saw you gave assets out to a couple of kids in the comments and I thought it was a nice gesture, so I bought some of your dungeon asset packs. Best regards!

For this pack specifically, are there trees with no leaves (dead trees with the branches still intact) in this asset? I bought it anyways, but would appreciate it if you updated it in the future to have it.

The camera angling is an interesting concept in itself! There seems to be a lot of potential with the platforming if you combined the jump with the forced camera angle switching.

Got all the blood cleaned in the end, the angle jump was tough!

Thank you so much for playing! :)

Yeah, I understand what you are saying about the timer -- intruders being on a time limit, or having the time limit be within the player's control in some way, shape or form, would have been a better implementation.

Thanks for playing and giving me your feedback! Appreciate it.

Appreciate the constructive criticism! Yeah, I wish there were more concepts added, but the time constraint was tough. Thanks for playing!

It's a fun game!

- I wish that either the map itself was bigger or the dash was shorter, it's hard to tell where I'm dashing to sometimes.

- I actually like that the bullets don't disappear too fast, I just shoot tons as I go and make a giant wall of bullets! Maybe you can make some momentum based game with that concept.

This has the most polish I've seen in the Jam! It really feels like a game.

I think a lot of the feedback would come from UI.

- When you go to set up shop, the buttons are so small that I thought my game was frozen, I initially did not see the small buttons as important.

- It's hard to see the stats of the weapons because the UI text is out of the bounds of the game a lot of the times.

- ESC to close the inventory would be great. WASD to have the inventory function more smoothly would be great. Highlighting the items that I click on my inventory would be great. Being able to quick equip with a double click would be great. A lot of these issues made the game frustrating at first.

But regardless, I had a lot of fun playing the game! Good stuff.

This is really cool! I like the concept, and the isometric look is great.

Unfortunately, all I can do is jump... I can't figure out how to clickon the items or grab items. Nice concept though!

Great concept! I wanted to make a game like this, where the game itself was based on minigames.
