Holy Hell what an awesome game.  Every single movement has to be calculated and that really fits the theme. the fact that you made everything from scratch in a week is crazy. The only thing is that by nature of the game being very randomized you can sometimes get completely screwed over but also that makes the upgrades feel so much more impactful.

Great Job

The game has a lot of promise but the movement system is quite hard to deal with (there should be some amount of movement you can do in the air), However, the vapourwave aesthetics are quite cool and i think with a bit more development time could be expanded upon to make a visually unique game.

trying to shoot and wall run is always fun so i very much enjoyed it. Overall fun game, just has a little bit of jank

Game was very fun and all the platforming puzzles were very interesting.

The sounds did end up getting a little reptitive but thats cause it took me so long because im bad XD.

overall a great game, congrats on getting so much designed and animated.

ah that does make sense. It might not be a bad idea to implement a cooldown when you throw away a good cookie or eat a bad one and show it visually, it could add to the gameplay.

but this doesn't remove from how unbelievably fun your game is. My friends and i have been saying "mmm tast the biscuit" and "what a yummy cookie" to each other since we played the game :)

What a really cool looking game. It feels very reminiscient of buckshot roulette and that game is really fun. The only issues i have is it felt a bit easy (but i might have gotten really lucky) and some of the text on the table was hard to read.

Otherwise, congrats on a fantastic game.

What a Yummy Cookie

Seriously though, this game slaps, the gameplay is so much fun, the voicelines are hilarious (both the boss and the PC). the only small issue i have is that grabbing cookies is a little janky. It sometimes feels as though there is a cooldown

Creative idea but i wish the difficulty started off easier. Also i wasn't able to break the blue chest so i dont know if thats a bug or i was doing something wrong

Awesome game, love the art and audio. The idea to make all the attacks biscuits was fantastic (props to whoever came up with that). Only thing i wish was a way to pass the turn to regain sanity which could add some depth

This game is so much damn fun. The only thing is i wish it was a bit clearer what certain abilities do. But seriously i could not stop playing it!!

Game is super fun (though the ball of steel upgrade is a lil busted or gets you stuck in certain levels).

i think different ways to begin the match or to affect the way your ball moves could be fun. But overall very very solid

The game is a very fun idea, the only major issues i have is understanding when I've hit the enemy or not and the perspective being a little hard to deal with.

Another small thing, i had trouble understanding what the blind system was for (but i think if i kept playing i would have figure it out eventually)

I really liked the betting system and being able to choose a reward at the end of a level. Overall, cool concept just needs some small tweaks

Thanks so much for the review. To be honest we were worried that we didn't do enough for the theme, but your comment does alleviate that fear.

Also i definetly agree about the visual feedback for combos (and to be honest most input other than spell selection) but with this being our first game adding any feature was an uphill battle. however, we do want to continue with this project and will listen to your feedback

Thanks for the detailed post, and im glad you liked the game. With the fact that my friends and I are completely new to game dev (and tried to make as many assets ourselves) adding every feature was a struggle so i am glad what we have is fun and interesting.

We are planning to continue this project and will take into account your ideas. (and also make it more obvious that space is a block :))
