Very nice work

Very cool! Gives me jrpg vibes. Well done.

Nice stuff! Reminds me of Will You Snail music. My only criticism would be that the track ended too quickly. I feel like you could have expanded the ending. Including a section with a different texture and melody to complement the rest of the song or something to that effect that could give the listener more. Either way this is great for your first try with this style.

Great work! Reminds me of attack on titan, this could be a film score. The story telling is very well done too.

Nice work! Love the jazzy vibes and also the cover art really stands out.

Thanks! I wrote a description of what type of boss fight this was on the project page, and you got it exactly right lol. Sadly, there's no space for a blurb on the jam submission page.

Thank you! The idea was to make the track unnerving so im glad that came across well.

Never heard of it lol. But I'll check it out.

Thank you!

Nice! I like this one a lot! I get a desert vibe from the song, which is pleasantly different from what I've heard in the jam so far.

Very nice! The instruments sound very good to me. Wish it had a less intense bridge or smth like the intro for some contrast. I see this fitting in like a fighting game. Good job.

Love the choir! The song has a very nice groove. I do wish it got more intense later in the song for some variety, but nice work either way.

Nice! Really like the choice of instruments.

Thank you very much! Variety is something I wanted to achieve to cover multiple aspects of the theme, so I'm glad you like it. Although I don't remember putting any piano on longing for, only for the will to be free.

Thanks! Guitars are underrated, and I was unsure if people would like the digital MuseScore guitar, so I'm glad it's your favourite.

Thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, im not sure why Yt did that but it works out nicely.

Thank you very much! Man do i wish i had more time to expand some of these tracks.

So are you saying you don't like the other track lol? But for real, thank you!

Thanks!

Thank you! All the instruments used are native to MuseScore. I was considering using some real-life instruments, but ran out of time, although I'm well pleased with how I made some of the MuseScore instruments sound.

Thank you very much! I wanted to have a very simple story of: being trapped, escaping, and freedom. Although if I had more time, I would have expanded on some of the tracks to help with the storytelling; especially Freedom, like you said, has a lot of potential.

Glad you liked it!

Thank you!

Thank you! I felt that the 7/8 bars were necessary to make to song pop out more; I'm glad you liked it.

Thank you for the wonderful breakdown! I'm a fan of that 16bit era videogame music and took some inspiration from it, although if I had more time I would've loved to polish the style even more.

Thank you very much! I was kind of scared people wouldn't like it because of the dissonance so I tried to make a catchy motif to balance it out. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you very much! I just put the MuseScore file on the project page although I should let you know just in case its different for you that the trill used in the score glitched for me and had an accelerando effect on it with it gradually speeding up which was not intended lol. I'll definitely be here for future challenges with hopefully something better.

I like this one a lot. Good job!

Oh wow really? Thank you very much! Sadly there's no rating category for how well it fits the maze theme lol.

Incredible work! This is amazing really love the vibe and the way the instruments sound really complement each other. Good job.

Nice! Really like that last small section, the overall vibe of the song and the main melody are great as well. Although the melody and harmony felt somewhat random at times.  Really like your drum work, I'm jealous lol.

I really like the melody and the vibe of the song. That walking bass slaps man good job.

(1 edit)

Thank you! I was somewhat trying to emulate 20th century music, so I'm happy to hear that it sounds like it.

Thank you! Thats the vibe I was going for.

Oh wow you completely found me out with a wish upon a star lol. I did imagine it being in a desert rather than an ocean when I saw the picture theme. And I was thinking about playing it on guitar but I liked the sound of the harp better although a combination of both for a live performance does sound like an amazing idea.

Thank you very much for your analysis of all the tracks!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Oh wow this is amazing! It's so magical and mesmerising and some tracks felt like something straight out of celeste. Wonderful job!
