Signal Workshop is a free eight-puzzle browser game about arranging light-transforming machines. An optional $5 source-study download is now available: the runnable game, verification scripts, a code map, and an example that changes the first puzzle without overwriting the original.
The game UI is Japanese/English; the study guide is in Japanese. It is for readers who already understand JavaScript arrays and functions. It is not a beginner programming course or a general-purpose puzzle editor. The game remains free, and its browser code is already inspectable. The package brings the tests and walkthrough together.
Generative AI was used in development. No runtime AI service is required.
