My many thanks for the interest and follow. To be honest, I never stopped working on the game, but saw no reason to keep posting the same thing over and over again"I'm making progress, slow but steady, blablablah...". But now that I reached a new milestone in development, I was able to update screenshots and game info. There's also a handful of content I can't post as updates, because it would spoil some of the story.

So for now, I peeked out from under my rock, just to show that Shadow Halls is still being developed. I'll also be keeping an eye out on your project, even if it's more or less a pipe dream. Keep the hope up! Godspeed as well.

The demo offers both entertainment and quality, and is by far one of the most intriguing point-and-click game I have played in a long while. Having the story set and voiced in a German setting is quite immersive, and the language truly is beautiful. A tremendous amount of love and care went into this project, with every aspect beautifully crafted. The inspiration is clear, without taking away the story's own identity.

Might I point out but a single thing: the Congratulations screen should write "you" as opposed to "yu".

Other than this very minor mistake, this story is already a hidden gem! Worthy of a Sierra and Lucas Arts praise.

Well done fellow game developer, your clear passion inspired me to bring my own project to completion, how ever long it might take.

Kindly,

Rin @RinNokuno

Simplistic but cute! Bonus Points for the custom menu look and character design.

Hello to anyone reading this topic! So what's this all about? Simple...

Shadow Halls: Banestone Manor is a little game currently in development. Unique in style and a well crafted story, it will satisfy anyone enjoying PS1 games such as Clock Tower, Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark, and older gems such as Maniac Mansion and Sweet Home. Although more focused on exploring and investigating, it will still offer some interesting and twisted enemies to battle, as well a handful of peculiar characters to encounter, Mysteries to solve and Notes to write down.

Developed by a one person team, the development is steady but time consuming. Heart and soul are poured into this project, and I will take as long as needed to make sure the final game is at its very best. Of course, the Support I currently have helps greatly, keeping both my motivation and determination high.

So have a look if you're curious! And to those who do, I give you my thanks! Kindly, Rin. ❤️
