Hi everyone!
I’m currently developing Silent Echoes, a psychological horror experience that pays homage to the gritty, lo-fi aesthetic of the 32-bit era. If you miss the "uncanny valley" vibes and the oppressive atmosphere of late 90s survival horror, you should keep an eye on this.
The Premise: Trapped in a decaying underground bunker, your only tool is a sonar device that pings louder as something gets closer. You can’t see it yet... but it definitely sees you.

Upcoming Update (Sneak Peek): I’m currently working on a major update that will overhaul the experience:
- Enhanced Environments: Redesigned corridors and rooms with emergency red lighting for a more claustrophobic feel.
- New Sonar UI: Moving from a corner radar to a sleek, "analog" rectangular bar at the bottom-center for better immersion.
- Refined PSX Visuals: Polishing textures and shaders to capture that authentic "found footage" look.

The Future: This is just the beginning of the Silent Echoes series. My goal is to push the first chapter to its maximum potential with deeper lore and more terrifying encounters before expanding the universe.
The update is dropping soon! You can check out the current demo and follow the project here:

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the atmosphere and the new visual direction!
