i'm gonna try that, but how do i make sure i keep my save files? i play on my mac

my itch client says that the game is updated, but i dont have any new features at all. what do i do? i installed the game six months ago and only started playing it recently. 

I'm on my Mac and the game won't update for some reason. When I click on 'Update', all I get is a couple of seconds of 'Installing', and then the 'Launch' button appears. When I check the item installed, it still shows up as version 0.21.2. What do I do?

what kind of Emma event are you referring to? i seem to be stuck in the same situation as you.
