# Workshop Memory 0.1.0 — First Public Alpha
After a lot of iteration, testing, redesigns, AI-assisted coding sessions, and late-night tweaking, Workshop Memory is finally available as a first public alpha release.
Workshop Memory is a local-first inventory app focused on makers, workshops, 3D printing parts, tools, electronics, modules, and general workshop chaos management.
The goal was simple:
Create something lightweight, fast, offline, and actually pleasant to use.
Current features:
- Local inventory management
- Categories
- Favorites
- Low stock reminders
- Use list
- Backup/export and import
- Dark workshop-themed UI
- Local data storage (no cloud account required)
Important:
This is still an alpha project.
Bugs, rough edges, and missing features are expected.
AI tools were used during development for:
- coding assistance
- UI iteration
- brainstorming
- image generation
- general workflow support
The project is currently Windows-only.
Feedback is welcome.
Suggestions, bug reports, and feature ideas are appreciated while the project is still evolving.
