Some saves give a crash, some load but on the wrong scene.

I'll just play it safe and start over, it doesn't bother me that much and it'll be a nice refresher of the story.

Not the first time I've seen it unfortunately, but first with your game.

But like I said, I had multiple errors trying to upgrade: it got cut around 35% and then it took several more attemps to reconnect and donwload the rest, so it might have been a glitch.

Still, something went wrong during the update: I had multiple failures trying to download it, which I attributed to my connection, but I just did an integrity verification and some files seem to have been corrupted:

It's repaired now. I'll chek later if the savegames work, otherwise I'll start over (which isn't actually that bad lol).

I'm playing on Steam and I think I already borked it.

I have backups, though.
If I restore it, can I apply this patch or should I wait for a fix specifically for the Steam version?

If you install to the same folder without deleting it first, you'll keep your save files for sure, so you can continue from where you left off.

Keep in mind that 1.0 (if it ever comes. It might actually be a 0.10 instead, since this is sfotware versionning, nota actual decimal numbers) won't be the final chapter.
Cari already said a couple times on Patreon they're planning a total of 12 o 13 chapters.
