I meant, make a link to an alt payment page (such as Patreon).

So use Itch for advertising, and then use another site for payments.

Since Itch are now indexing NSFW games that are free, you should use this to make a demo of your paid game and point people into the direction of your paid version. (free advertising)

Just strip out some content from your game and call it a demo 😂

Don’t link to the paid version on the demo page itself, instead do it at the end of the demo, so when a player reaches the end they will be met with “Did you enjoy the demo? - You can get the full game here {link}”.

Selling NSFW games on Itch provides Itch with a lot of money. With the games being removed, it also removes that income for Itch.

Hopefully Itch will still be able to keep the lights on around here without the income from those games.

Looks like the EU will be next to have their region blocked.

Appears NSFW content is getting hit even harder for those in the UK.

Note this is not due to the payment processor issue, this is due to the Online Safety Act in the UK.
