OMG, just finished it and those new CGs are absolutely beautiful 🥰. I’ll definitely reread the VN from the beginning to refresh the story.

You’re right, thanks. The NPC who sells it turned out to be Lior.

The tutorial says that Longshot is obtained after getting the Gold Badge in Kroner’s shop, but in version 0.23.1 it doesn’t appear for purchase. I’m pretty sure I had it in another playthrough, but I’m not sure if I deleted it or if it disappeared due to a bug.

Just checked and it works perfectly now, thanks! 😊

I also noticed the back button only rewinds up to the last choice (you can change it, but not go further back). Just wanted to point it out in case it’s helpful.

P.S.: Happy New Year! 🎉 Wishing you all the best with the project.

I’ll admit I downloaded the game completely blind 😅, and it ended up hitting me emotionally ❤️‍🔥 more than I expected.

The story as it is right now feels so well put together that, at times, I genuinely thought this was the final version: a short, SFW VN with a calm pace and a strong focus on the emotional journey. A lot of the weight of the game comes from the interactions with Rowan, and from how, over the course of several weeks, the conversations slowly gain depth without ever feeling forced (at least with the dialogue options I personally chose).

At one point, I felt that some characters could have been developed a bit more (for example, when choosing to spend time with Cedar), so I was surprised 😲 to learn later that this is actually the developer’s first project and that there’s still more planned for the game 🤯, whether through expanding the story or deepening interactions with the other characters (romance paths 😏).

Even so, I think the foundation that’s already there is solid 💪, and it definitely left me curious to see how the developer will polish those details and take the experience a step further in future versions.

P.S.: On the Android version, I noticed that when a paragraph is long, the text gets cut off on the right side, as if it isn’t properly centered. This might just be an issue on my phone, but I wanted to mention it.

Thanks for sharing this project. Looking forward to seeing where it goes!

This game has been a really engaging experience so far. Since this is my first time playing it (starting with build 3.1), here are the things that stood out to me:

What I enjoyed:

  • The way the story handles intense emotions—especially anger—and how it portrays violence feels raw and full of misunderstandings and bias.

  • The argument between Eco and Atticus really stayed with me 😲. Their clash carries the weight of their people’s history—old prejudice, misunderstandings, and very different views on exile and prosperity—and seeing them work through that and reconcile felt surprisingly meaningful.

  • The mystery elements are great. I haven’t caught any of the sound-based clues yet, which makes me want to reread the build more carefully.

  • The third victim’s scene is tough 💀, but it breaks the characters’ sense of normalcy in a way that raises the tension effectively ✔️.

  • I also appreciate that this build ends at a meaningful moment instead of something anticlimactic 😅.

  • Kai continues to be a really interesting character. Even though the dynamic that grabbed my attention the most was actually the one between Eco and Vulterus 🥰, Kai adds a lot to the narrative. And while many furry VNs give characters certain expectations or personal burdens, Kai stands out because he’s dealing with several layers—cultural, emotional, personal, and situational—without feeling exaggerated.

What didn’t work as well for me:

  • Some of Eco’s choices felt a bit impulsive 😅, especially the scene with Kai at the club. Neither of them stops to justify or contextualize what happens—they just go along with it—especially with Kiara in the picture.

  • When Vulterus helps Eco find Atticus, Eco doesn’t acknowledge his earlier defensiveness or thank him 🤔 before immediately asking for another favor. Maybe it’s just part of Eco’s personality 😅, but it stood out to me.

  • Kai is central to Eco’s progress and appears prominently on the main thumbnail, but he hasn’t appeared much in illustrated scenes yet 💔 (aside from sprites). I’d love to see more CGs that reflect his narrative importance.

  • Kai is dealing with a lot—loss of home, displacement, cultural and religious conflict, xenophobia, prejudice, emotional strain—but he hasn’t had many opportunities to show positive strengths beyond what might be seen in combat later. I’d love to see more of his intelligence and emotional skill highlighted 🧠🫀.

What left me curious:

  • I’m really curious about how Jayce managed to set up a club like Voretec in that setting. Was he also a refugee? Did he deal with local distrust toward Kolterrans or kinetic-sound tech? 🤔 I might’ve missed something since I was reading late at night 😅, but I’d like to understand this part better.

Overall, I really appreciate the work and passion behind this project, and I’m genuinely excited to see where the story goes next 🫡.

The game is really interesting! I like how the story’s broken up into clear, short parts, the art, the dialogues, the way the characters “move” (honestly the best part 🤣), and their expressions. I just kinda wish there were a few decision moments where you get to pick something — even if it doesn’t really affect the story. I’m also curious to see how the love interest will be developed. It’d be nice if Vaast turned out to have a bit more depth than just the usual strong, handsome type 🙏.
