I'm still looking for offers...

Hello folks, I'm currently looking at working on a small project, that being a top down shooter featuring a number of Transformers characters.

What I need is a pixel artist to create some sprites for me, these will be a small selection of cars drawn similarly to those used in the original GTA games on the PS1, and then some sprites for their robot modes, my intention is to handle the transforming part myself through code.

It'll be a small job at first as I just need a small selection with which to test my ideas, but if it goes well then I'll be looking to expend with additional vehicles, and perhaps even some animal and monster forms, so there will be room for lots of exploring and experimenting, and I will of course be sure to supply you with thoroughly written guides and lots of reference material for each creation.

If interested please leave a few examples of your work, especially anything resembling robots, vehicles etc and an idea of your fees, and we'll go from there.

Liberty City Vehicles

I can't find you on Discord by that name, did you make a typo?

I'm happy to work for free as long as the job is reasonably fast and straightforward ie it shouldn't take more than a few weeks for me to finish my part, anything longer though and I'd need to charge a fee.

Hello Ennui, can you be a bit more specific in what you're referring to by me doing the animation? I gather your other programmer is also using Clickteam?

Revenge Of Rugal by Retrolution Games

Still available, just checking in now and then.

They're great graphics! Capcom and Konami were making incredible looking games back then which haven't aged a day since, and this is exactly what I'm looking to create as an indiedev, games which look and feel like the very best of that early 90s era.

I whipped this together yesterday, is this something like what you had in mind?

Which sort do you mean, scrolling brawlers like Double Dragon or one on one like Street Fighter?

It's a pity this site doesn't allow for particular large gifs, as I'd be able to showcase a lot more of my previous works?

This is from some test mechanics I made for Megaman 2 last year, I wanted to see how well grappling could be worked into a running shooter, and was pleased with the results.

This is why I say I'd like to work on a simpler project with someone, as I have confidence in my ability to create some pretty impressive mechanics and moments within a game, but would like to gain experience in building something more complete in order to better showcase them.

So if anyone has a Clickteam project in mind they think might be suitable, please do come share

Hello there folks.

I've been developing my skills in Clickteam Fusion for a number of years now in pursuit of my own personal projects, but have run into multiple stumbling blocks in their pursuit. It's one thing being able to set out and create a particular set of mechanics, but another to be able to structure a project from start to finish and move from one stage to another until an entire product is complete, and this is what I wish to next focus upon in improving my game dev skillset.

So what I'm offering here is my services, preferably on small, simple Clickteam games which should take no more than a couple of months to finish, in order to familiarise myself with the whole process. Regarding charges, these I'm happy to discuss on an individual basis, but to be clear I'm not under any delusions that I'm up on a pro level yet and my focus is very much on continued improvement, so would be happy to go pro bono on something which looks suitably quick, straightforward and not terribly labour intensive.

So if you're someone with plans to start something soon do come say hello, and we can discuss further project suitability, thanks for reading!
