Ah, nice. Thank you for the detailed explanation.

Of course. It's your preference. But a quick question. Do you have now an AI assisted toolbox that helps you to put out this "recompilation" so fast after Ruff'n Tumble. We were all a bit surprised. Or was is a parallel developement over the years?

I still hope that you consider Gods at some point. This classic is in desperate need of technical improvements. Smooth scrolling, better controls, more animation phases etc.

Next one with performance issues on the Amiga? Aladdin, despite being  an AGA Game, it doesn't run in full speed. And of course the Bitmap Brothers games..Gods or Chaos Engine in smooth 50 fps would be great. Or something like Wolfchild which runs in exact 25fps, but 50fps should be fairly easy on the PC.

Fantastic work. Finally in full speed. Smooth scrolling and animation. Could you please add a simple Aperture Grille CRT filter  (scanlines+mask).  It requires  integer scaling though for the proper look.

Great! That's what i needed to hear. :-)

Any progess since last year? Maybe a second demo level for us to test?

The trick for the jumping is: Press and HOLD the fire button, after that you press the direction. This way it's (mostly) much easier. Took me a while to figure that out. Nice game!

Great improvement in v0.93.  I'm very pleased to see your progress so far.

Guys, force the game to NTSC 60Hz mode via tooltype. It scrolls much smoother than. You cut a bit of the bottom though. :-)

Buttons are completed messed up with a Mega Multi adapter and a 8bitdo M30 2.4Ghz controller in CD32 pad mode. This usually works fine for all WHDLoad games with proper CD32 pad support.

edit: Awesome gameplay. But the scrolling is even worth than the Arcade original. Is this something you are still working on?  Great job so far, as always.

Wow. What a great demo. Finally a decent PC-Engine action game in commercial release quality. Very fair balanced gameplay. How many levels can we expect in 2026?

You can stop to investigate. I didn't knew that the game only saves the level progess after dying. Thought it would save  automatically somewhere between the end of a level/start of the next level.

I have save issues too. I've played the first level on the U64 board using a real EF3 cartridge, in normal difficulty.  REU is disabled in the U64 menu.  But nothing was saved after level 1. Any hints?

Probably related to the cartridge settings in the Ultimate 64 board. I switched the "Bus Operation Mode" from "Quiet" to "Dyn. & Writes" and it works stable now.

Great Game, Sarah. But it think there is something wrong with the save slots. I've flahed the crt to my  real EasyFlash 3 cartridge, using the Ultimate 64 Elite board. The save slots 1 and 2 gives me a "Game Save Failed!" error message. The slots 3 and 4 seems fine though.

edit: Strange, after the 4-5th time saving in slot 1 and  2 works now. Will have an eye on it.
