i thought this was a bug too, but when you add another trade route, you have to switch between the shipping containers of each one. you can click the corner of the page to get there!

fair enough! i'm incredibly uneducated on making games so i never know if any of my suggestions would be easy or even possible to implement. thanks for listening and explaining! i'll probably be playing this game until the end of time lmao
edit: i just now saw the new updates, thank you for the volume controls!!!! and the updated dictionary!!! i'm excited to play this new version for 6 hours while i listen to a youtube essay
i really wish i knew more about making games like these because it sounds like your options are pretty limited, but i wouldn't even know what to tell you to do about it T-T if this is the best dictionary at your disposal, that's totally understandable.
i guess my main issue with it was that there were several words that i didn't expect would be words at all, and sometimes when i check for a definition, there isn't one that comes up. learning the definition would help me remember the word and learn the dictionary you're using.
so if there were definitions for every word, that would really help me, though i can't speak for other people. and maybe if there was an option to click through definitions when multiple words are made at once? hope that makes sense!
edit: i really appreciate the non-conventional definitions, by the way. i like seeing a word i think i know, looking down at the definition, and seeing something i didn't expect. i always love learning new things, especially about language lol
love this concept for a puzzle game! i'd like to suggest adding a way to control the volume of the music. i like to play this while listening to a video in another tab, but it's hard to focus on that when the music is constant and uncontrollable. also a lot of people are calling for an update in the dictionary, and i have to second that.
this is a really cute game!! as someone who frequents cute games, i have a few suggestions that might help improve it (if you're still working on this game)
- a little egg cracking animation when you add eggs to the bowl
- a mixing batter task between assembling the ingredients and putting them on the sheet
- keep the cup tool on the cursor while adding the sugar/flour/etc. and put it down when you're done
i also had an idea where the cookies could look different based on what you put in them, but someone else here said it would be cool to decorate them, and i think i like that idea better. it would encourage replayability so we have a reason to want to try out all the different recipe combinations!
i really love the variation in the custom recipes. i only played two, but i was pleasantly surprised at how different they were. it just feels a little anticlimactic when the cookies look the same every time in the end.
4/5 stars, keep up the good work!
very cute game!!! this is exactly the kind of niche genre i love. maybe i'm being silly and missed something obvious, but how do you charge the batteries in the first repair? i put everything back together and i thought the solution would present itself when i flipped the console back over, but it doesn't move when i try to do that. it's fine if that's intended, i'm just not sure what to do.
sidenote: i love that you scroll the mouse wheel back to unscrew, and forward to screw in. it's that special attention to controls that really complete games like these
Hi! This seems like a great game and I'd love to try it, but it's super laggy on my dinky little computer (literally my own fault for having such a cheap laptop) and it's pretty much unplayable for me. if you could maybe add an options menu, and a way to turn the graphics to a lower setting, that would help me a lot! I'm not sure how easy that is for someone to do, so no worries if you can't! hopefully getting a better system soon
