This is a brilliant concept. Turning the Grim Reaper into a bus driver is both hilarious and memorable, and the turn-based puzzle format sounds like a great fit for quick retries and careful planning. The 1-bit art and chiptune soundtrack also sound perfect for the retro style. Best of luck with the release!

Beautiful track with an atmospheric sci-fi feel. We’re using DavidKBD’s music in our browser strategy game, Galactic Idle, and it fits the sense of exploration and scale perfectly.

Thank you for creating and sharing such inspiring music!

It sounds like August was a really productive month, especially with the NPC art, Cirrus’ writing, and the early audio planning coming together. I love the thoughtful approach to stepping back when work becomes stressful. Wishing the team a smooth and exciting September!

Galactic Idle is now publicly available on itch.io!

Build your space empire from the ground up. Manage resources, construct buildings, research new technologies, command fleets, explore expeditions, work with rival factions, and conquer planets across the galaxy.

The first public build includes timed conquest missions, research upgrades, espionage operations, narrative lore, offline progress, mission rewards, background music, and plenty of room to grow.

We’d love to hear what you think. Let us know what feels great, what needs balancing, and what you’d like to see added next.

We’re tuning Galactic Idle’s pacing and would love your feedback.

Are resources coming in too quickly, too slowly, or at about the right speed? Do the research costs, building timers, and planet conquest timers feel rewarding?

Tell us where the game feels exciting and where it starts to drag. Your feedback will help us balance the next update.

Galactic Idle is now publicly available, and we’d love to hear what you want to see expanded next.

Which direction interests you most?

  • New planets and more conquest targets
  • Deeper faction diplomacy
  • Fleet combat and larger battles
  • More research branches and upgrades
  • Story events and lore
  • Expanded expeditions and discoveries

Tell us what would make you want to return to the galaxy. Every bit of feedback helps shape what comes next.
