That... sounds pretty cool! we've already got a couple updates planned, so it may be something that isn't going to be seen too soon, but it would be a fun thing to tackle eventually (no guarantees)! Thank you for the suggestion!

That's due to the limited way the system for loading portraits was originally made - we're planning to update it to be more robust and inclusive for all forms!

We've got something in mind for the "advance" button in the future! Besides from that, it's best to use an image editor to make scenes! I reccomend using sprites from Skytemple, PMDCollab's sprite repository and the Spriters Resource. You can use any program to edit the image, though i'd reccomend aseprite, pixel studio or any capable art program.
 

Hello! Are your drivers up to date? If they are, Have you tried loading the program with OpenGL rendering? You can find out how to do that here.
