Thanks for playing Cioncre!

Hey Aschura. Yeah good spotting. I ran out of time to sort out the Y-sort stuff properly with the assets. I'll need to learn more about how it all works to get it looking good :) Thanks for playing!

Seems like you got too big! If that happens you can press R to restart the level :) The intent was to build out a puzzle game where growing bigger and smaller were part of the mechanics! A bit too ambitious for a 3 day game jam haha.

Thanks so much for playing Danrex2!

Thanks for playing Yoiro! :)

Great wee game you've made here :) Easy to control, nice hand made art, some chill music. What more can you ask for?

I also love that we've both build our games snowball themed. We are now officially snowball buddies.

Hey Dylanbb! That's a shame that all godot games do that :< Have you tried in a different browser maybe? I dunno what you use, but I find sometimes changing browser or clearing cache sometimes fixes these kind of things. Sometimes it can also be a browser extension interfering?

Thanks for trying to play anyways!

Yes the snow is coloured this way as it's "night time" and the train is giving off light in a radius :)

I gotta admit, I clicked the gnome far too much. "OH!" made me giggle.

Well done, really neat little demo, no bugs or issues :)

Yeah okay, I can DEFO feel the Harvest Moon 64 vibes. Thanks for taking me back like 20 years. (Although I certainly put more hours into Harvest Moon: A wonderful life!)

Really well put together and presented, loved the art style, didn't run into any issues or bugs. Very well made, and even more impressive you got this put together in 3 days!

Can't add much more than what the comments have already stated. Super well made and presented. Well done!

Playing this felt like I was sitting in a hot tub with heavy snow falling all around me. Very cozy.

Really liked your hand drawn art, didn't run into any bugs, and overall had a great cozy time.

As previous comments have said, some navigation aid would help. Perhaps some sort of light or arrow in the corner of the screen towards where the campfire is, would have helped me out greatly, as I found I got the most lost trying to return to make coffee!

Oh wow, you got him VERY big in level 3! I didn't even know you could get that big in that level!

Thanks for playing Levakulitkov :D

I'm glad you enjoyed! Even more so that you don't typically enjoy 2d games.

I 100% agree, I'd love to start expanding it out to be a puzzle game, growing and shrinking the snowball to solve different things, and getting much better art put in!

Thanks for playing touch_grass! :D

Thanks so much sterco_raro for playing! :D

YAY, I've been waiting for this comment. I was wondering who'd reach the "spooky" level first haha.

Totally understand the ask. I'll see what I can do after the game jam, as I can certainly see it being frustrating if you get hit by a bomb, and knocked out the light circle with no understanding of what you are getting stuck on. Great feedback, thank you!

Thanks so much for playing seanlired!

Ah yes! Actually intended, as I wanted to create some levels where if you get too big it would become more of a "puzzle game" - How do I clear the snow without getting too big!

You can also press R to restart at any point should you get stuck or too big.

Thanks though for playing :)

This answer is a little copy and paste but...It's similar feedback :D

Thanks for playing mora4!

I think you are right, I'll likely need to speed the train up. Perhaps I can add something that's like "If the snow ahead is clear, keep accelerating" or something. It's a tad too snow (slow) at the moment.

Thanks for playing ojsan!

Excellent little platformer :) Love the climbing, the "metamorphosis" of the movement set, and the overall vibes!

(Thanks for also rating my game! For whatever reason your comment got deleted, but really appreciated you jumping on mine as well :))

Oh no :< Could you expand a little on what was wrong with the controls? Was it the collision with terrain, or the charge mechanic?

Thanks so much for clarifying feedback! Totally agree, if we had more time, would have loved to have added a tutorial :) Hopefully we can add this later!

Hi Hedgebirdgames!

Thanks so much for this feedback :)

Could I ask what you found confusing/difficult about the door unlocking? Is it just the readability? The premise was "equip numbers to be equal to, or greater than the number shown on the door to proceed". Curious to know where this didn't land with you!

Thanks so much 01101101!

Really appreciate the kind words :)

Thanks so much Eris for the feedback!

It is pretty hard...probably want to play about with the numbers/regen a bit more to see if we can find a nicer ramp up!

Appreciate all the lovely words. There should be background music...perhaps it was switched off on the main menu? I'm curious as to why it didn't play as I just checked myself :< I do know the music doesn't loop though, which we'll sort after voting :) Thanks again!

I can't add much more that hasn't been said already. Incredible game, very more-ish, and exceptionally well put together and presented. Well done! When I realized I could merge dice together to create new classes, I was immediately hooked.

Hello fellow first time Jammer! You did incredible for a solo project. It feels very polished and works end to end. Really like the concept and the approach in theme.

Music kicked in for me half way through as well which gave me a jump scare as I thought there was no audio haha.

Cannot give much feedback that hasn't already been given. All I could say is perhaps a short timer for your dialogue boxes, before you can interact with them? I accidentally pressed space bar twice in a row and accidentally closed the dialogue box a few times as it defaults on "exit".

Also perhaps intended, but on my first time play-through, I tried to go the opposite direction of the witch, couldn't leave the area, so went to talk to her and she ran away :< It was only on my second play-through I found she had dialogue haha.

Seriously though such a solid foundation to build on, well done!

Thanks so much for playing!

Really appreciate the feedback. We did indeed use move_and_collide instead of move_and_slide, which we 100% realized with approximately 5 minutes to submission deadline haha. 100% something we'll need to fix.

I'll need to get some suppliers on the line for merch!

Neat mechanic for the jam's theme when you run out of bullets :) Very fun!

This is very well balanced and "more-ish". Once I got to grips with how it came together, it was like eating a fine 3 course meal. Except my food kept going down, and those dam Beavers keep stealing my wood, and oh god why does this guy not take any damage on the first hit and...

Great submission, and tons of content to boot too. Well done.

Fun roguelike! I enjoyed the theme and pumping up that attack speed.

Agree with the comments here around the spawning. Sometimes felt like enemies spawning would swarm you and there's no way to counter it, unless you kinda stick to the edge of the screen.

This feels unbelievably polished, well done! The timer kept getting me on the 2nd level, the pop up one, which is 100% a skill issue on my end, but I really adore everything about this. Incredible work.

I had a whale of a time.

I created so many first whale'd (world) problems...

Seriously though, fantastic concept, really enjoyed making my little planets, and the movement while floaty gave me a good giggle trying to control him.
Music is nice and chill too. Well done!

Really enjoyed this puzzle game. The ramp up was unexpected but fun, once I started to understand what to do. Had to restart twice before I understood the code puzzle.

Lovely audio choices and tunes too. Well done :)

I also had the .pck issues, and I just kept refreshing until it worked! (Hope this helps others).

Absolutely lovely little game. Lovely sprite work, great little beeps and boops for audio, and gave me a good laugh :) Reminds me a little of WarioWare which I loved.

Farewell Earth, you will be missed. Yeet.

Thank you for playing, you beautiful SucculentPineapple <3

Thanks so much wonchu!

Hey TRy Dev, thanks so much for this feedback and for reaching all the way to our accidental blocker :<

We've got a fix ready for both the blocker and the charging attack not working sometimes (the fog shader seems to block clicking on occasion). The FPS dropping I will try and reproduce. I have a feeling it's linked to what's behind door number 58!

Thanks again!
