Thank you!!

I did worry I'd not explained the controls well enough, but with the jumping I tried 3 different character controllers and ended up preferring this golf-style one!

I think the control's simplicity fell apart when I added the way to cancel a jump. Basically you gotta press both buttons to be able to jump, releasing jump first cancels the jump, but releasing direction first is required to follow thru with the jump.

This is awesome! i love that you made it so you can choose what buttons you want to use, and that you made all the options so fleshed out!

great aesthetics! I didn't struggle to understand how to play or anything (except for the green combo pips, it took me a sec to understand how to fix those)

I really like the tower placing mechanic! very smart way to get around the tough 2 button limitation!

the pixel art is great and i love this little wizard dude really fits the game well.

other people have mentioned the wave 1 difficulty, and i agree. maybe this could be solved by just making the enemy hitboxes a little bigger? it was a little frustrating having the bullets thread the needle between two enemies and taking a load of dmg because of it.

its pretty fun! I really like the rasterization lines & the limited colour palette. the music and sound effects are fitting.

I wont lie I'm not a fan of the mascot, its a bit... lewd for my liking lol. the difficulty curve could also use a little smoothing, i felt myself getting a little bored before the transition to lvl 2, but a bit overwhelmed as soon as lvl 2 started.

good insight to make the player hitbox larger than the zone of control from the bullets, stopping you from cheesing the game by hugging the wall.

I really like this! its simple but fun! the music has a rising intensity and the art style is very cute, i especially like the way that the water is animated!

the one bit of criticism I would give is that the whirlpool hitbox can be very unforgiving on the trailing edge, i found myself getting hit on the back of my boat a lot more that the front!

all in all, great job

holy starting difficulty, batman! the music is such a jam but I immediately felt overwhelmed with how fast the pips were coming at me! I like the animations for the button presses a lot, but i think it could use some kind of Perfect!/Good!/OK!/Miss! system to tell you how youre doing as you go without you having to keep an eye on the score at the top

very fun! very hard! i like the music a lot but i cant clear even level 1! i like the multi-ball mechanic, its very satisfying.

very nice! definitely subverted my expectations when coming into it. visually, its very pretty, im a sucker for pixel art and simple palettes. Could deffo use some music though.

i like the story, though im not sure how much i understand it, maybe thats for the best! gives me eldritch horror vibes.

cute! took me quite a while to get used to the breathing, maybe the tutorial could use a little more work?

Sorry, I'm confused, the jumps do have particles! A little pop of blue & white that goes off in the opposite direction to the way you jumped.

maybe its just that im used to them by now but i kinda like the jumps being crazy OP, makes it more challenging to hit the right power.

thank you!! It's my first time working with Asesprite & i love the little 16x16 wizard sprite, he's my little guy!

yeah. i forsaw the visualiser being not that readable against the background, i wanted to figure out how to give it an outline but didnt manage to before i had to upload :'(

thanks so much! i was giggling to myself as a wrote it aha!

someone else said it blew out their eardrums too so i might reupload with quieter music, whoops!

tysm!

this is awesome! love the music, very Loop Hero

the game didnt run for me ;-;
