Hi, thanks for the info. This is only a small issue with the User Interface, but it should make no problem during the generation. I work at the moment at a small additional feature for V1.3. I will build in a fix for this error message in V1.3.

Which version did you download? The standalone Exe or the directory? When did this error occurred? Direct at the start?

This is an issue at windows for Programms which use pyinstaller. I could buy for much money a certificate, which makes no sense for free software. This occurs at some anti virus tool.

I can check for a workaround in the next update. You also define an exception for this exe or you can also use one of the other tool (PnPBuddy or PnPTool on BGG).

Sorry, the general feedback was quite positive, but still 1-2 people complained about a free tool. And I honestly can't understand that. That's why I was unfortunately very defensive in my response. I'm sorry about that.

I saw that you are the creator of the other PnP tool. I'm quite busy at the moment, but I'll get back to you on BGG next week. I hope this is okay.

This one doesn’t work for me. The download is blocked and I want a specific layout with logos and more. So I build within a day this one and it worked for my PnP games, so I thought I share it. You can take it or leave it. There is also PnPbuddy and for sure further tools. Why complain when it is free. Take the one which works for you the best. 

I will include this with some other small improvements in the next update. It will then possible to skip the backside by not providing the corresponding files or to overhand one backside for all cards. 

I think it will be ready end of the week or next week.

But yes, I planned also some expansions, if this game performs well. I maybe will soon post a preview in my FB group and on Discord, what I have in mind. Stay tuned.

You still can check the PDF file, which front must be paired with which backside. So it should be no problem for you. 
I hope you will enjoy the game and two tipps:
1. Use the Aimed Attacks, which are listed on the enemy cards. 
2. Really do the 4 steps of the Enemy Phase step by step in the correct order. This is really important.

Yes, each card has a specific pairing. But I wrote it in the readme for these cards, because some playtesters were confused especially regarding these cards.

But front and back side together. The pages are so prepared, that you are able to print in duplex and everything fits.

So helmet card has on front and back the helmet. Footwear the same. Really important is also, that the front and backside of the weapons are correct.
So normally the left top card is the frontside of the right top card of the next side, and so on.

Not at the moment. The German YouTube channel "Zamgspielt" is doing a video. I think it will coming in 2-3 weeks. 
Maybe I will do one in English, but I didn't think I will have time (and the equipment) before the Christmas holidays.

Sorry, I am not sure, if I understand your question correct. But you have to play multi handed, if you use this expansion in a solo playthrough. But I would say, it adds not so much extra complexity.

but there will be other animals follow in the upcoming expansions, which are controlled by the game and not by the player. I think this is more that what you are looking for.

Please scroll down on the page to the bottom. There is a section „Download Demo“, there you find the download link. I had to mark it as demo content, so that you can download it for free. This is important for all people who bought the GameCrafter version and not the PnP version. Do you found it?

hi Steph, the rulebook is a free download for all. Scroll down to the bottom of the Grimm World page, there you should find a download button. It is not part of the paid downloads.

I bought season 1 today and love it. I really hope in Season Two, that you offer the 2 kickstarter exclusive mazes of season 1 for all backers of season 2. I was a little bit sad, that they seems to miss here. 
 And I hope there are more mazes with special rules. If you need then help with a German translation, feel free to contact me.
