I love that you use a tartigrade as the player character. I love tartigrades, also loved the intern, had 10 seconds left to get the diamonds and they were talking about Pluto, for the sake of God, please lock in.
Got three 6's and one 5 in a round and felt like I was hitting my enemy with a hollow purple, really liked the feeling of stopping the dice at the right time to try to get a better number.
My only nitpick is that I think the game could have explored the theme of the jam more, maybe a dice that heals the player, for example, but that's just a nitpick. Overall, this was a game, nice job!
saw a comment where you said your partner was calling you cruel, they're correct, you despicable person. I'm tearing up in my bedroom alone, writing a review with watery eyes, looking like a neglected hamster because of you. Shame I wasn't expecting a story game in this jam, much less one that sad.
Also, the game was good I guess. It's easy to understand what the characters are feeling, and to feel yourself in their shoes, and that ending was evil, had me in shock staring at my screen for a few seconds before I recomposed myself. Great game.
I wasn't expecting to play a Twitter version of WarioWare, but it was a nice surprise. The way you guys used the theme was really creative, and the art for both the UI and the ending images were great. Really solid game, you guys cooked.
The game is fun, and kicking around the carriage to kill enemies was really cool, plus the pixel art looks great. My biggest gripe with the game is how I think the theme of invincibility could have been more well explored, but overall I enjoyed playing, and would have played way more if the game were longer. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback. The player can actually block any projectile, the idea is to block the projectiles that are going in the core's direction before they damage it. If the projectiles went through the player than the game would lose that core idea and would end up getting much harder. Still were glad you had fun.
Really solid rhythm game, strong JSAB vibes, the sound effects were great, and the art was simple but great. It might just be a skill issue, but in my opinion, the last part of The Bomb felt way harder than any other part of both songs, but that's mostly a nitpick. The game is overall a very solid game, good luck with the Jam my dude.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm pretty new to posting my games, so your advice is really helpful. I'll try to post a zip file of the game in the future after the jam, and maybe even make a browser version. I don't know how to do that, but who knows
Great usage of the jams theme, the character controls well, and I like how when the sanity meter is low enough, the screen starts to get wobbly, the whole game feels polished, congrats dude
Fun game, the visuals are nice, the way it uses the invincibility is pretty creative, and the puzzles are challenging while still fair, also the main character is cute
If you wanna see mine, it's a 2D Retro-style bullet limbo where instead of dodging bullets, you have to stop them with your own body to protect your core
Thanks for the feedback, the idea of blocking bullets charging up a super move was actually something one of the members of the team suggested, but it ended up not getting added because of time constraints. Still, it would be something cool to add in the future. Glad you had fun
