Glad I could make an inspiration! for me the Silent Hill fog gave me an idea to add similar vibe.

Thank You! Yes, the game over screen was something I did invest my time on.

This is my very first full game (kinda) release for a Game Jam. Took about ~3 days from the start of the competition. The game is inspired from series like Faith. I love the artwork and its simplicity with 2d retro graphics.

wow it looks amazing. how did you learn to make game engine? I have been looking to do something similar but never found good resource online that covers both theory and implementation.

You should be lucky to shovel out HP items. There are tons of them from apple, banana to cheese and meat which offers movement and digging action speed. 10k is the grand chest you uncovered there but at the cost of your health.
