EDIT: So, I figured out that you have to unlock something after the first attempt to level up, in order to enable the options needed to level up on the 2nd attempt. Seems to be a theme with Priti

I just finished by first playthrough of Milky Ways. To make it playable for me, I used InvertMouse v1.0.5 https://github.com/oleg-st/InvertMouse/releases/tag/1.0.5 which, in turn, requires either the RawAccel driver v1.60 (later releases unsupported/untested) https://github.com/RawAccelOfficial/rawaccel/releases/tag/v1.6.0 or Interception (latest release was way back in 2017) https://github.com/oblitum/Interception
It's a bit clunky but works well enough (I have the option enabled where it only inverts when the mouse cursor is hidden, but there's a bit of lag time in switchover from one mode to the other.)
I read somewhere that enabling y-axis inversion was fairly simple with Unity, but I'm nowhere near familiar enough to know how true that is.
