"nobody has written me a poem before."

this whole vn is like a poem to me. the soft feeling of grief, creeping in through every scene, is relenting in how it affects our two characters. i really enjoyed seeing the world through Erin's lens, and then that same world through Viv's. wanting is a desire that does not escape us, even in our melancholic moments, and we see that reflected here. imagining the guilt and everything that follows after is a yummy dessert that is swirling around in my head after the finish of this vn.

thank you for writing this. it is a beautiful piece of work.

such GORGEOUS character art. i truly want to see this with all the art finished and put in bc it was soooo yummy to sit and perceive as i read.

the story itself is just as tasty. i hate to say it but i would be honored to let the queen do such vile things to me and i would thank her for it (needless to say, you've made a vn about desire hot, which is a contradiction of itself, hm?). you did very well in painting Agnes as both a sympathetic but also maddened sort of character. and Cece, oh, poor Cece... i want to hold it and keep it safe.

shakes your hand in middle ages inspired vn maker recognition. ty for this beautiful work.

i've only known kiwi for 15 minutes but if anything happened to her i will destroy this palace and everyone in it

really cute and nicely put together little game! a bunch of sweet little details, such as how names change, their persona text icons, etc. very nice! thank you for creating :)

"the point is that i like not liking it."

fuuuuck. this one was really short but incredibly painful. i feel too seen. it hurts, but it hurts good.

thank you for making this. <3

hey! i really wanna play this but when i unzip the file, there's no game attached :(

this works on windows!

this was a bittersweet sort of experience. it's a familiar feeling, to feel outside of yourself when it comes to sex in a situation like this. in under 1k words, you've given me a lot to think about. thank you for your creation <3

i do appreciate niche pervertism, and this, to me, is indeed that. the art is dripping with a gorgeous style, and tbh i've been excited to read this since i first saw the doodles of your little unicorn. she is as wonderful as i imagined. i do wish the ending carried out a little further, but i do like the abruptness, too.

thank you for creating <3

thank you so much!!! my collaborator is also a bigtime history nerd who made the awesome gui. imagine the shaking head emoji here. thank you for reading ^_^

love the solid noir theming throughout, esp in terms of characters / the backpieces. the music was really solid throughout as well. the banter / thoughts between Marie and Lynn felt akin to Death Note in how they're predicting and thinking out each other's moves - in a good way. this work could've benefited from an editor, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience.

nice work!!!

evocative title screen that made me show MY teeth (through a big smile). big fan of the name changes that occur depending on where our dentist is / who she's being perceived by. really gorgeous prose that i could see in a novel by itself without any visuals to aid it where it would still be sucking me in like it is here. w/o spoilers, the perspective is really fucking cool and i love what you do with it.

neat and tidy piece of art that leaves me with the want to know more about these two. ty for creating this <3

THANK YOU!!!! im so glad each part hit so thoroughly... thank u for feeling as wounded as we did making it <3

really yummy!!! in the grossest ways!!! the art is super charming and cute, and the backgrounds devolving the further we get into the story works really well. the music isnt too overbearing and, for me, is a perfect piece for the story to sit against. i like that it has me questioning if parts were real or imagined, too.

really nice work!!! ty for creating it <3

gorgeously illustrated, especially the sections where ann is doing her tasks. the animations really add a lot to the atmosphere. the story vaguely reminds me of A Rose For Emily. a sweet little bite of a vn - just as long as it needed to be.

thank you for this lovely experience <3

beautiful work, love to see the thought process and planning behind it!!!

i am Not a SPORTS BRO!!!

...but, i really enjoyed this vn. swimming is the one sport my own body tolerates and actually enjoys, so reading about it in a more competitive lens was quite interesting.

the artistic value here is what drives this vn through to the finish line. at times, it read as a poem, with the usage of epiphora and repetition in general really standing out. the interjection of real video footage of pools / lake added such an intimate feeling to it all. the constant presentation of water through the visuals, the effects, the sounds really ties it all together.

really beautiful piece of work. i have a feeling that, like a poem, it should be read several times over to parse it 100%. excellent work from everybody involved.

such an intriguing work. the setting is drenched in melancholy and mystique from the get-go, with the soundtrack doing lovely work alongside the dreamy black-and-white setpiece. erotic, fucked up, and very vivid imagery that stuck w/ me. super beautiful prose that i wanted to drink up every single line.

thank you for this lovely wormy creation.

cold intro that immediately left me curious for more.

the art reminds me of early 2010's dating sims, in the best of ways. it's a sort of charm that i really like to see. this is a very nice first visual novel, especially made by one person! ty for creating it <3

this was a nifty little read! it's super effective even just with the icons to indicate who is talking and no further art. i'm not personally into the mech genre, but this felt really approachable and had interesting concepts. i always love a machine that you have to basically make part of your being to operate.

i do wish there were an option to increase the text size, as it was personally a little small for me.

i liked the slow build up to AVA becoming more and more... like that, without spoilers. super cool drop at the end. cronenberg-esque indeed.

i look forward to what you create next :)

thank you so so much for reading and reviewing 🥺❤️ it means so much! i'm very glad you connected with the main themes and Aldith as a character.

abigail is perhaps #girlfailure of the year.

the character art is very charming, and the story follows an interesting trail.

SPOILERS

------------------------------------------------------------------------

i do mourn that the mother is so one-note - i would have liked to see maybe flashbacks to abby's younger years, maybe one to before her brother / father died in the car crash. it would provide further characterization to her mother and show the reader if she was always like this, or if it only happened afterwards.

nora surprised me a bit. i liked the parallel of her behavior against abby's mom's behavior. abby crawled right from one abusive household to another in the end :(

a big difficulty i had with this vn is the overusage of text effects, including the pauses after commas / ellipses. please make it so these effects can be turned off in preferences! it detracted from the writing and made it hard to focus on the story.

still, for a first time vn, it shows a lot of potential and i really do look forward to what ya'll create in the future!!! <3

dripping in atmosphere from the very moment you open the game, no piece goes unrecognized in terms of polish and attention to detail. the noises reminiscent of ps2 when you hover over the menu buttons, the banger music (which carried throughout - im a sucker for kazehai tunes), the stylistic background... going in, i was already very excited for the tasty meal before me.

character designs really show you how these two women are from different worlds / walks of life right away. the writing does excellently to reflect this as well. their opposing motivations are very striking from beginning to end, as are their developments as people with their desires, wants, needs - what they sought and what they ended up with. the juxtaposition between the two in these terms is, without spoilers, done so very well.

also, lovely little reference to saturn devouring his son in the beginning. the webpages being ENTIRELY interactable threw me off guard and i was struck by how cool this was all going to be right there and then. from the moment we entered the dungeon, it was almost fear and hunger-esque in the vibes of "this is scary, i've got no clue what's going on, what kind of fucked up things am i going to run into?"

i want to add im someone who reads a lot of extreme horror and is rarely ever "squicked" by it - but oh man the scene near the end. whew boy.

in all, genuinely had no clue ren'py was even capable of such a cool concept with 3D dungeon crawling in this vein. however, that's not even the coolest thing about this vn. its clear to see there's been so much hard work poured into the ui, the designs, the art, the writing, the music, just... wow. really an incredible and worthy visual novel that exceeded my expectations.

THANK YOU so much for reading and connecting with it ❤️🦄 the intimacy has done exactly as it was meant to then hehehe....

shakes ur hand in unfortunate derma having agreement. thank god it isnt just me and KJFHKJSDHF thats so funny ;w;

ok so she's a queen. as expected. TYYYY for passing my questions along hehe very cool to see inside da mind of da writer...

god, the visuals. i don't even know where to start! i ADORE any and all collage work, and how it is executed here is done so beautifully. the blend of fabrics and vintage illustrations, woven in-between gorgeous illustrations. the writing is a perfectly intertwined element as well, with the style being gut-wrenching and simple to appeal to most.

i do not have EDS. but the beginning in particular speaks to me as someone with chronic dermatillomania and general pains/frustrations with my body. a scratch that goes deeper, unsatisfied, even through the pain, dig - even as liquid oozes out, it is not enough. this whole vn spoke to me as someone with depression, adhd, anxiety, etc, etc - sometimes the rot is there, it's easier to be there in bed then think about how easy it is in reality to do things (for adhd in particular), and sometimes it's okay to accept that you need help in the form of aids/medication. it is okay to wallow from time to time. but we all need the sun. (i just wish it was easier / more accessible to get to that sun, sometimes).

this is all to say - this vn is gorgeous, i have been anticipating it from the very moment i saw it. i was on the brim of tears the whole time through, a dread snaking through me from the very first line. this is really something special. thank you for creating it.

the world of this story breathes the moment you open the menu. the writing is delicate and perfectly descriptive while never being too heavy-handed in dropping its world building on you. it is easy to fall into the lap of desdemona's responsibilities, what weighs upon her, her temptations and wants and wishes. then, however, it is even easier to fall into the mind of magdalene, a newborn meant for those temptations.

it goes without saying, but the artwork is GORGEOUS in its rendering. the characters are so unique in their design, esp mother superior.
the sound design is delicious (in the most gross way), too. i love the attention to detail on each action and how it should sound.

both endings have me holding my head in my hands going "fuuuuckkkk" so i really really loved this, needless to say.

HOLD IT!!!

this is a lovely little experience brimming with charm, stylish character designs, and a bangin soundtrack. i loved the font chosen, and to draw a comparison, on the menus it reminded me particularly of Catherine. this vn is short (maybe 15~ mins?) and carries the inspiration of ace attorney on its sleeve proudly (and well!). somehow i fumbled my way through choosing all the correct choices but up until the end i was wondering if maybe...

SPOILER --------------------------------------

she had a secret twin? and that's why she was able to show up to court after being shot / also why she was odd about the photograph being proof of her innocence?

but... in the end, it all came together! i can really imagine playing this on my 3ds or something, so you overall really nailed those vibes! really fun read ^_^

the knowledgeable gamer... thank you so much for reading and leaving a comment!!! ❤️🦄

thank you so much for reading and sharing your thoughts!!! ❤️❤️❤️

powerful little experience with a compelling view into both speakers. the parallellism going on was a really cool visual i havent seen done too much! the art was really simple but also incredibly fitting and overall a treat aesthetically. i agree with gaydarade - i would've loved to hear sound in some format!

just played the steam nextfest demo with some friends, we were immediately enamored by the vibes and color palettes. the music was also killer throughout the entire game. we all had out loud moments of laughing because this game is just so funny without being too obnoxious in doing so. the world building is so so cool and the friendship between Fran and Mario is so natural/doesn't feel forced at all. the humor and vibes in general are really making me nostalgic for the early boom of RPGmaker games like Ib, OFF, ENDROLL, and so on... i'm so excited to see the full release!!!!

the music? the art? the gui? holy shit what a combo of cool shit crafted together to make HDC. the story left a pit in my stomach that knew where it was headed and it only got worse from there. cool as hell in literally every aspect ever!!

what a crushing, uniquely illustrative experience. Postcard from Brentville has possibly the most gorgeous GUI i've seen in a VN, and the art by ppilotco for both deirdre and kenzie is striking. not only is the game itself beautiful, but the story is as well. i have very little knowledge / experience with kigurumi, but this gave me a peek into what it could be like - how freeing, light, transformative it could be.

i have been following killjill's writing from her very first project, memento in morrow. it is so, so rewarding and sweet to see the growth from there to here. the prose she is able to craft leaves you re-reading a line to taste it again, and then the very next line will have you do the same. it's like a delicate course of brilliant metaphors mixed with genuinely gorgeous depictions of fuck-ass-nowhere towns, feeling like you can never belong, and of course, devilmaid cranberry.

i highly recommend not only reading this work, but all of killjill's other work - they are all worth it, with their own punch to the gut. this one just hits a little harder as someone who feels like a deirdre in the monotony of life and seeking an escape.

short and not so sweet - which is a plus for a toxic yuri jam entry! i really loved the visuals and i do love a woman who is sadistic without much explaination behind it. i did find the text font used to be hard on my eyes but using shift + a to adjust it to a more accessible text worked out. abrupt ending, but i think it works to really force you into the same situation as rachel in the end. nice work!!!

the artistic design of this is absolutely lovely - so thoughtfully pieced together in every aspect of color, character, and story. very wonderful piece of work <3

INCREDIBLE!!!! really hot sex scenes with niche pervert images, plus a compelling story that had me hooked beginning to end... art is so so good as well, really loved all of it

a beautiful experience w/ super charming art and writing, honestly the characters really have such clear and interesting depth that i read in one sitting because i was hooked by what would happen next! big big fan

jill i am so incredibly proud of you, and i really think memento is something special that you'll be able to look back on in years and think of it as like, your metaphorical baby (lmao). it's clear so much love and tears were poured into it, and i'm so honored to have gotten to playtest it. i loved the twists, the turns, the way i was on the edge of my seat hoping it wouldn't go there - and then it did! and it was so, so fucking good! you're really such an inspiration for me and i think pretty much all of our friend group. i love you so much, my dear friend, and look forward to your next project <3
