Hi, thanks for playing!

Funny thing that there is actually a dodge on LShift in ghost form. It's just that the tutorial about it broke for some reason and now the dodge in this game is one of the biggest secrets of the world on par with some SCP objects.

Thank you for playing and sorry for the bugs!

I would say that Tutorial skip is kinda implemented by the Level Choice menu, so during development we were like "That's probably enough..."The dialog system will be probably reworked completely in the future, if we continue working on the project.

Also, you were the first person to actually comment on the Rickroll :D

Thanks for playing!

The difficulty of second level is a bit too much, I agree. Balancing is tough 😅. But yeah we wanted to change the camera somehow (FOV or position) for you too see more on that level and just didn't manage to do it in time. A simple change, but it would have definitely improved the game and now I regret not doing it...

Disorientation is valid too. There are definitely ways to improve the unexpected third person shooter mode. Like adding the timer to make it more readable when it ends. Maybe slowing time a little bit more.

Hi, thanks for playing!

The thing is THERE IS A DODGE, BUT FOR SOME REASON THE DIALOG IN TUTORIAL ABOUT IT STOPPED WORKING. I don't know why. It's very strange. But that doesn't excuse the fact that we forgot to make an indicator on screen that there is an LShift button and you can press it.

Here is a proof that there is a dialog box after changing forms the first time. I hope we will find the reason for this bug...

This is one of the cutest games of a Ja-... oh my goooood, what?

The crayon art was a nice touch, and the coffee reference made me smile. Keep up the good work!

This is an amazing VN. The art is incredible and the story is captivating. Now I want to know more. It would have been nice to see all the possible endings with different poisons, but their absence is understandable and does not diminish the story.

Also it's cool to see red girls with scythes and potential yuri from other people. Great minds think alike :D

It's a very nice looking game, and I adore the aesthetics of flat 2D sprites in 3D world (which is what I also did in my game).

But I had a big problem with... falling out of house, which means I had to Alt+F4 and restart. It happened when I instinctively walked down the stairs and when I walked past the door in the direction of camera (skill issue, I know).

Cute girls save second lives, confirmed.

I think adding a button to add +2/+5 essence below the main button would have been nice to speed up the process of improving stats.

Cute animals and good dialogs! But I am not a fan of platformers, so can't comment on the mechanics too much, just repeat the comments about coyote time and constant collision issues at the connection of passable platforms with stones.

Also encountered a bug that made me restart it twice, when you can't exit the dialog when it ends and no controls work. But it wasn't that big of deal with the length of the game.

I love vehicular manslaughter! Very cute game, the style is top notch.

My main problem was the controls of the truck when reversing, and that one time when I somehow used a body as a ramp and ended up falling through beach in to the void. But it was funny, so that isn't a gripe :D

Thanks for playing and thanks for kind words!

Yeah I agree with you, I'd love to add visual novel-like dialogs. It just never crossed my mind that I can just... scale the current sprite and use it like a full-on visual novel art, so it sadly was never on the table during development.

Thanks for playing! I too hope that this is not the end of this project because it was very fun to work on. And I still want to add some sound...

Thanks for playing! Although, there are no boss fights in Ba Sing Se.At least we never made one intentionally :D

The Voice Acting was great and the game made me laugh on multiple occasions! Great job!

Thanks for playing!

Ghost actually gets some invincibility during dash and for some reason now he can levitate over the lower level of terrain on the Second Level. We didn't plan for it as it was initially a bug, not a feature, so it was never told to a player during a tutorial. But as we got feedback everybody said that this was better for the game, we just had no opportunity to actually present it, so it's kinda obscure...

Thanks for playing! The text boxes problem is real. I thought about adding animation for them to pop off, but couldn't make it work in the last hour. The problem is that originally the game didn't pause during dialog, so I made it look non-intrusive. This changed and now the design is questionable.

I got it using 'Z' in the Firefox while having 3 HP.

But now I can't reproduce it, so it's definitely not gamebreaking or anything.

Me too... We really wanted to have them, but our inexperience meant that we didn't know how to deal with the scope and we just never managed to start working on the sound effects or music.

Thanks for playing!

Simple concept, but a great execution. The bodyjump (like rocketjump) makes me smile every time.

This was so polished, so impressive. Would definitely make a pilgrimage to the Septiceye-monster.

That is a very fun game, but splitting platforms and still spawning in the middle is just evil. Still one of the best experiences in the Jam!

We actually had the similar idea while brainstorming at the start. So cool to see that somebody made it into reality!

We also did 2D sprites in the 3D environment, and it was definitely not easy, so we can relate to you. Hope you have an opportunity to fix it in the future!

Also encountered a bug if you press Interact on a ghost thingy that follows you

Great game! Loved the art style and the theme interpretation!

This is probably a commentary on our scary world where to get a J*b you need to walk on the corpses of others... Or maybe I am reading into it too much. Anyway great job! It was a fun experience!

Cute! Such an original idea. And you already have a lot of marketable plushies on your hands if you ever make it big!

Although I would have liked mouse controls to place ghosts, but maybe it would have made the game too easy

Liked the spin on the classical myth and the art, especially intro, was incredible! But I just didn't understand if I ever did damage to enemies or was missing all the time. Probably second :D

Fantastic music! Art is also very good! Rhythm games were solid and the story, even if short, makes you feel things. Great job!
