Hi, thanks for the feedback!

Yup, UT is one of the inspirations! Not adding any sort of indicator of winning condition is a mistake on our part, same goes for the game's responsiveness when you take damage. Will be coming with the next upload, after the jam.

A solid entry, the art is amazing and so is the music and the SFX! I liked the use of puzzles and the part they played in regards to the simulation (you gotta spice up the typical idol manager-type gameplay somehow). It's hard to believe it only took you two weeks, keep up the good work!

If I had to point out anything, I would prefer to have some clear instructions or a tutorial for the puzzles. I don't play those often, and failed quite a lot. I still have no idea what some of the counters did/meant.

Theme of the gamejam aside, if I got a tutorial at the start I would honestly struggle to pick something to "complain" about. Great job!

I love the idea behind the game. I also liked how you designed your gameplay, having to use different tools (possibly as little as you can) to guess the parents. The fact someone had to lay an egg to make it happen is hilarious and absurd to me. The comments of the characters at the beginning add to the humour of the game as well.

The game did not really fit the theme of the jam, but its supposed to help people without an idea anyways (at least to my knowledge), and you clearly had an idea (and a funny one at that)! It's a bit quiet, but it's hard to compose a video game OST in two weeks (experienced it firsthand, since I composed the music for our entry). Maybe some clicking SFX could be used instead to make it more interactive.

The lack of a background surprisingly doesn't feel like a bother, probably because there's so many tools on the screen already. About the tools, some of them felt a bit repetitive, maybe the mechanics of this game could be more limited, but the hints could be more direct (without making it too obvious). Of course I realize how difficult that is, especially in two weeks, so mainly I'm just nitpicking.

Great entry! The funniest premise I've seen so far on this jam.

Thank you for the feedback!

You're right, the game isn't very responsive to the player yet, we will keep working on that once the jam concludes. The winning condition indicator is something so basic it seems silly we forgot to add it in... And the volume slider is something we already have in plans, as well as polishing and actually mixing the piece. Since there are some bugs with the resolution we haven't got the time to fix, we also plan on adressing that in the settings menu, which is currently unavailable.

We're glad you enjoyed the art and found it fitting for the setting of the story, our artists worked hard on this one!

Accidentally posted on the site for the game instead of here, so here's the copy-paste of what was said.

What a fun collection of mini-games!

The beginning really sets the scene, but the mini-games feel more lighthearted (probably reflecting that the memories Kronii has about her friends are all the good and fun times). The music in the game is really nice to listen to and fitting, especially the hub theme with the ticking on-beat (the asteroid game is especially fun btw!).

Points of improvement to be given here would mainly be to rework the DOOMei minigame (the enemies didn't seem to be moving & the camera was locked, so you could not aim up or down). Other than that, it's just small nitpicks, like the screen that pops up after you catch a fish closing in a bit too slowly.

You didn't just make one game for this game jam. You made 3-in-1. Be proud of it, great job!

Hi, thank you for the feedback!

We plan on remaking the feather counter into actual feathers after the game jam, but their placement is still important to consider (thank you so much for bringing that up!). And some indicator of losing life is definitely needed, agreed 100%. The thing about the attacks... you're definitely not just spit balling, it's fair criticism! We also plan on adding a diagonal slash and more projectiles (spawners in the corners instead of the diagonal slash are also considered), so once the jam is over we will probably have a lot more implemented to flaunt :D

We're glad you enjoyed the game (or rather prototype-kinda game)!
