Strangely, yes, it works in the All About Sound deck. I'm using Safari on Mac, and the sound runs the full 10 second limit that Decker has. I believe I'm using Decker version 1.54.
If you wish to check it out, you can find my project on https://puter-and-tunep-games.itch.io/inspiration-strikes. It might be the case that it's working for other browsers, and I have some weird local issue going on.
thank you so much!! we appreciate your support :,)
also thats a very good question - i realized that we never really went into where the Prophet came from, like we did with all the other characters… maybe we could put this in a future game? i jest, i jest… unless…?!?
but to answer your question, i’d say that Prophet has always been relatively glitchy like that, but has been doing some sort of targeted gene editing to buzz’s own body over time. i think buzz probably materialized someday as a manifestation of a glitch in one of the lab systems, somehow - maybe a result of a mishap in a DNA synthesis machine going way too far? and buzz has been steadily refining the glitchgender up until the events of the first genome hacking, giving buzz the appearance we see today! :D
My jaw dropped when I opened the game and realized that I could walk around in renpy!! Most unique use of tool for sure. I realized very soon that I was picking a lot of options that removed the "juice" from door opening for the sake of efficiency, and it was very evident the effect it had on the gameplay. It made me think of my own game design a bit!
I adore this game so much oh my gosh. I was also introduced to Katamari recently and the controls really are something, even with a controller - I can't imagine Katamari with a keyboard. I also had the same reaction to "make cancer" - so that part made me laugh rly hard. I love this style of reflection, stream-of-consciousness reflections on a game with lovely doodle-y crayon-y art.
Nominating this line for "best one-liner": "it’s like I’m getting a good grade in roll, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve."
