Thanks for the feedback! Rebalancing is definitely high on my list for a post-jam update.

As for enemy scaling, that’s actually in the game! There’s a wave multiplier that ramps up with each wave,  increasing health and damage of animals, which also gets tweaked during candle events.

Regarding menu pausing: my original thought was that the break between waves would give players enough breathing room, but if it feels frustrating during active gameplay, I'm more than happy to look into adding proper menu pausing in a future patch!

I like the style and atmosphere, it was really hard to understand the game at the beginning :(

Feel free to review my game :)

I really liked the art style and the sound effects in this game. The implementation of the themed item was also great! Only thing that confused me were the controls :(

I really like the vibe and direction this game takes, but currently it's lacking the motivation to keep playing. I mean you can already do some stuff with the money and buy items but unfortunately that's not enough yet. Some upgrades for your gun or defense would be cool. I really like the idea to be able to build on the deck tho and protect your crystal that way :)

The game is really fun, but using the water gun to move around can be frustrating at times. Otherwise it's a really creative idea and I really like the visuals in this game!

I played this at night and it absolutely terrified me—so good job on making the game genuinely scary! Honestly, you guys did a fantastic job implementing the themed item, and the mini-game at the palm makes the experience even more intense. The pixel art combined with the sound design is incredibly well done and sets a great atmosphere. The "monkey ghost" villain blends in perfectly with the environment and adds so much more character to the game.

overall I think the game is really fun! Especially the variety of enemies is really well done in this game. There are a few things I would like to talk about tho: First of all the most annoying bug in this game is when opponents get stuck on top of you. The player combat is really not at the Level yet and still needs some polishing. The player movement could also see some polishing and more options to move around (maybe a dash ability, double jump etc.)

The game is fun and I really like the Pixel Art. I don't know if it's just me, but the movement is too quick in my opinion and I keep bumping into stuff. Other then that the themed item is the middle point of the game so that works!

I like the idea and the puzzles are really creative especially the mechanic where your time runs out. The implementation is really good! But shooting the orb was a little bit annoying sometimes :(

It's basically pacman in the backrooms and I genuinly like the Idea and the map seems to randomize everytime you spawn in. But: The Monster keeps getting stuck and the amount of variety in the gameplay is also really dry.

First of all: I had fun with the game! But for some reason there was no sound for me, I don't know if there is even sound :/
The implementation of the Themed Item (Candle) is pretty straight forward, but it works for this game and the amount of characters is CRAZY. In a game like this it's really important, since the gameplay is looping and needs a lot of variety. Well done!

I really like the idea and it's super unique. Well there are still a few bugs where you can get stuck into walls with the cube, but overall I'm really impressed by the visuals and the gameplay

I really like the style and fighting of the game (even though it's confusing sometimes)- I just wished there would be some kind of a "challenge" or quest before you can recruit somebody so it feels more rewarding.

Thanks for your detailed Feedback! Doom is actually one of my biggest inspirations, so it's kinda funny you brought it up in your comment :)

While the bow is the game's second most important combat method, its mechanics are barely explained which is definetly on me. To use it, you need arrows, which can only be obtained as random loot (6x arrows) by killing enemies.

First of all thanks for your feedback! And yes you are definetly right, some things still have to be changed so it feels more polished and fits better into the gameplay loop, but also doesn't break the game entirely! The Candle is something I would work on first, balance it out and make the "gameplay changing" effects feel more "gameplay changing" and make every run feel more unique :)

Thanks for your feedback! That's definetly something I will be working on in the future and I'm already aware of it :)
