I never dreamed you would reply to one of my posts. Knowing that you see these, I want to thank you for the game series! I think I've played many of the Rogue Fables, and it's made many a long day easier to bear, and, for good days, it's been a wonderful treat. As you push toward the finish line, good luck and godspeed!

D'oh!  That was it!

It may be in the changelog, but was it intentional to remove hunger/starvation? My warrior gets the -1, then heals back up to max. E.g., no starvation. I have not tested extensively as to why. I'll update if I learn more about this.

The game needs to explain special abilities in the descriptive text. 

I know balance work is on-going. I've won with DEX and INT builds but I think it is really hard to win with STR builds. Too many late-game enemies have retributive damage shields, you can't use area attacks against summons, and you miss the many (beneficial) passives from the spell chains (notably gas immunity) unless you dip outside your competency.

Should an enemy who forces the player's movement (ex. whip pull) be able to pull the player into a chasm drop? I actually like it-it adds a strategic risk.

Unless it's not a bug. Just hit daily challenge in the new human-only edition, and a fairy generated.

I used a scroll of acquirement late game to get a +2 Inferno Sword. It was really underwhelming against most late-game enemies. I switched back to an early game boss weapon. If warriors could get a skill to "quick swap" weapons, maybe it would be more useful. Maybe classes could burn speed points to quick swap.

That explains it. Thank you, Random! Perhaps there should be a warning.

I believe that, typically using a scroll of blink (or similar) to get into a key door unlocks the door, so one can leave? I had that not happen today. Seed 59523163390 (Swamp 1/4).

I have had a repeating issue in which a polar worm will pop up and down continuously or otherwise freeze the game.

To be fair, I did not check the numbers--just the message text. I'll see if it recurs. 

It might be nice to have a way to quick switch between ability loadouts or have an additional row. I ended up with more abilities than slots, although I did figure out there is a way to swap them out.

I've conquered all the side branches with a Gnomish necromancer, and it was all toxic branches!  With the lich king fallen, it is time to go to Yendor. Will this run succeed? 

When loading from a save (Continue), the game failed to load allies. My gnome necromancer had both dominate and soul reap allies. None appeared when reloading - a significant issue given the dangers of the sewer for a necromancer!

When one is using abilities that lower max mana, even if one is at the full capacity (reduced by any abilities), the option does not increase the maximum mana. Instead, it restores full mana. (My gnome necromancer was using dominate, which lowered maximum mana.)

It'd be helpful for the Summon Skeleton talent to indicate that it reduces total mana while the skeleton is summoned. Also, it might help to have more text on when Soul Reap will recharge.

Fountains and potions only allow two random attributes. Sometimes, they are not one's primary (or needed) attribute. I recognize this may be intentional but it isn't as fun as it sounds--at least for me. If the goal is to have players buff non-primary stats, having stat-specific foundations might accomplish this in a more fun way. Alternatively, maybe give a higher buff to stats that are further behind (e.g., +2 if 10-13, +1 if 14-20). That would make the boost more meaningful for weaker stats. I hope this is helpful. Great game!

Aura of Death does not show the passive toxic resistance when taken (10/29/23). Also, when adding another toxic resistance, it does not add to the correct total, because the total does not include AoD's buff.
