A first-person horror–looting game about a lonely pilgrimage down a haunted road. You ride a fuel-hungry wagon from one cursed waypoint to the next — crypts, manors, mines,
groves, chapels — loot them in the dark, sell your haul to a masked merchant, and try to reach the end before the thing on the road behind you catches up.
What's in the alpha:
- Carry a torch or lantern into the dark — light is how you see and how you survive: many creatures fear fire and flee from it (some don't)
- 5 hand-built themed dungeons, a 7-creature roster (a stalking Entity, a loot-thief, a disguised mimic, a swarming bat…), traps, and a merchant economy
- Melee, thrown, and gun combat across weapon rarities + a moody darkness shader and a reactive procedural score
The honest part: this is an early alpha built solo in C with raylib. The world is currently primitives + CC0 textures and the audio is procedurally generated — final art and
sound are on the way. It's free (pay-what-you-want), on Windows and Linux.
This is an alpha, so honest reactions are gold — what felt good, what felt boring, what broke. Thanks for taking the walk. 🌑
