Hi everyone
I’m Ángel, a 16-year-old indie developer working with two friends on Dysphoria, a psychological analog horror game focused on atmosphere, discomfort, and slow tension rather than cheap jumpscares.
Dysphoria is set in an isolated town where reality slowly breaks down. The game plays with VHS aesthetics, environmental storytelling, and subtle narrative details that make you question what is real and what isn’t.
This is an alpha version, but it already represents the core vision of the project:
- Heavy analog / VHS atmosphere
- Psychological horror and unease
- Minimal hand-holding, focus on exploration
- Story told through environments and fragments
We’re mainly looking for feedback:
Does the atmosphere work?
Does the tension feel effective?
Does it leave you uneasy?

Thank you very much for playing and reviewing Dysphoria. It helps us a lot, as it allows us to understand what we can improve in the future.
We’re really glad to hear that you enjoyed this Alpha.
We’d also like to share some good news: this year we will most likely release a Beta version, which will feature a largely new narrative and setting. This Alpha was meant to be a demonstration of what Dysphoria could become and how it aims to immerse the player.
We hope you’re excited to continue following and experiencing this project.

Hello everyone!
I am Angel Quintana, independent game developer and founder of Psycodreams Studios™, a small team of young creators passionate about atmosphere, storytelling and immersive gameplay.
We focus on building experiences where reality and imagination collide — mixes surreal images, psychological horror and emotional storytelling. Our goal is to make players feel something deep, not just playing.
Our main project at the moment is DYSPHORIA PROJECT
a psychological horror game set in a decadent Soviet research center. Explore the mind of David, one of the survivors of the experiment, as reality begins to distort around him. The game mixes analog horror, mental confusion and atmospheric storytelling.
We also create assets and tools for other developers, like our latest version:
– a detailed, game-ready 3D model, ideal for horror, survival or exploration games.
Psycodreams Studios is based on a belief:
Dreams can come true when they are transformed into games.
Thanks for reading! If you like horror or surreal storytelling, feel free to check out our work or share your thoughts. — I would love to connect with other developers and creators here.

Coming soon: we’ve been hard at work reworking and polishing core mechanics, including object interaction, as well as fixing a variety of bugs. Most of the systems have been completely rebuilt from the ground up, bringing a smoother, more immersive experience. Almost every aspect of the game has been improved in some way, making this version the most complete and refined to date.
We hope you’re as excited as we are to experience this brand-new chapter in the game’s development

Yes, as we’ve said, it’s still in a very early stage. It has just begun, and in fact, everything needs to be redone from scratch. What exists now doesn’t reflect the final story at all. It's still impossible to tell where it’s headed, but over time it will be refined and steadily developed. We’ll be sharing updates soon.
